Ooh, virtual chocolate flying at me from all angles!!

Need to get my act together and start doing things today, otherwise the children will come home from school and I will still be sat here in the same position that I was when they left :o

Off to shower and change.......then do half an hour of flylady, and a tiny bit of admin.......back at 10.

Nope, can't do that......Pania lives nearer than you do and has a chocolate stall on the market near her house that I cannot risk losing contact with.....:o

    Sorry :rotfl:

    Really

Lol, I joined you in the not sleeping last night hypno, hence when I read this I only took in the first bit of the sentence you wrote and thought pania had her own chocolate stall!

  • Good luck Hypno!! Glad you put the whole lot in, it is quite scary but you can also breathe a sigh of relief that it is all off your chest. Really pleased that you have sorted out the skiing fund and you can take it a little easier - although saying that I'm sure you won't.

My figure isn't that far behind yours so I hope I do as well as I know you will x
  • Hi hypno

Just been to your 'old' diary and have come rushing over here when I discovered you'd all upped and left! There are so many posts here already that I've only just reached the end. It just shows how popular and interesting you are, some folk's diaries only get a couple of replies a week! Nice to see all your old friends back, plus lots of new ones too. Here's to a happy and successful journey to your next total  . However bad it gets you know we are all here for you.

As for the Bananarama and Human League thing, I think I can go one worse than that:o . I always kept a stash of Chas and Dave tapes in my old car and sang along to them whenever I was driving on my own. My car was stolen once and when I got it back it was still pristine except someone had stolen (or probably just chucked out:mad: ) all my C 'n' D tapes:eek:. This car has a CD player and so far I haven't managed to replace the tapes as I can never find any Chas and Dave CDs at car boot sales etc (the only place I'm likely to find any according to DH! ). Must look on eBay as driving just isn't fun any more!

Now I'm going to track down the 'stop faffing' thread a few of you have mentioned. Sounds just what I need:o

    Have a good week

Stopped for a breather - have been doing the kitchen a la flylady. Still some way to go, but I will get there! My student has left her wallet on the bus over the weekend. We have spoken to the bus company and thankfully they have it, but we have to go and collect it this morning from the depot, which is quite a trek from here, but no other way round it.

So, having a coffee now, then will clean the kitchen floor and go out!

    Imp.....Chas n Dave......

Morning Hypno! Nice to bump into you on the Flaylady thread too. Weirdly I hadn't read your diary before going over there, so didn't know Flylady had even been mentioned here. I just decided to have a go at it on the spur of the moment. Great minds think alkie eh?

(Clearly that was a typo and was supposed to say 'alike' but it made me laugh so much that I didn't correct it! :rotfl:)

  • Sorry about the problems with your studen't wallet but at least she'll get it back. I hope the contents are all there.

Coincidentally, when I was holidaying in Norway(youth hostelling) in my late teens I left my purse in Stavanger Cathedral and didn't realise until we were about 30 miles away! After a lot of enquiries and help from the police I got it back, the police even brought it for me to the place we were staying well off the beaten track:j . Brilliant service I thought. The downside was they'd taken a small amount of cash out as a 'reward' for the finder. Apparently that's standard practice in Norway:confused: , or was then, or maybe I was green enough to fall for a 'line'. Whatever, I was mightily relieved.

The purse has been retrieved - all contents intact! I think it helped that she left it on the last bus of the night, so once it had done her journey, it went back to the depot where it was cleaned and the purse retrieved. I think that if it had been on a continuous circuit, then it would not have been such a lucky story.

So, back now and will have lunch and a breeze through the boards, do my piggy clicks etc before getting back on with some work. I have been asked to do a day at the Uni on Thursday, so will take them up on that - all money in the bank at the end of the day (or month).

Snaggles - love the alkie typo :rotfl:

Hi hypno, good luck with your re-awakening DFW journey. You are doing so well, you can do it and thankfully you know that. Keep at it girl!
I am kind of in a similar situation too, I have £900 of CC personal debt. but I owe £14,000 which I borrowed for a business I am involved in, although that is productive debt I get a good return on, not the type Martin says is naughty. I dont count it in my current figure as I needed to break the debt down to make it achieveable.
I will keep skim reading your diary, good luck!
