I’ve had info from the broker relating to mortgage cost, insurance etc. She’s ringing me Wednesday to go through it, then hopefully submitting it! Wish she’d just crack on lol

Oh kingkong I'm so sorry did they give you a reason why? Can you appeal it?
@Debtfreestudentnurse you are literally in the same position as me haha 😂 we had the chat today, our broker has got us a deal but still waiting for the application to go in. I'm doing that thing that patients do and googling stuff and jumping to worst case scenarios 😂 I need some sedatives off the GP I think to get through this!

I was told before you could submit the application and get it approved over the phone immediately but now because of covid you can’t.

Hey, I think it’s was because of my past credit history wasn’t the best and wife’s on furlough pay so they have accepted 80% as her salary

@kingkong2020 I'm so sorry to hear this. As cliche as it sounds, I do believe everything happens for a reason. You'll find your dream house.
Look at the positives, you were accepted for the mortgage, they just wanted to lend you less due to current circumstances, next time you'll get there I'm sure

Our HTB and mortgage application went in today. I’m already being alerted to hard searches being carried out. 

Really hope it’s not a long wait for an answer.
