Ah that sucks that the underwriter messed up! Well done on the progress with NatWest though!

honestly the anxiety is killing me.
I too was pretty shocked that the MB is going to a high street lender for mine.
My experience score is just about in the fair category, 2 defaults from 2017 and a 15% deposit.
im just hoping there not gonna be more strict with the effects covid have had on the economy
    I've popped you a message :)

Just had an update from MA, suggesting Halifax are waiting to hear back about vaulation date. Has anyone recieved confirmation of their valuation and if so, how long did you have to wait?
Does anyone know how where the valuation usually sits in the application process?

First time buyer nerves here... Has anyone got any updates on the process with Halifax? My valuation is booked for Friday and I'm worrying! Do you know if Halifax would instruct the valuation if they weren't happy with everything else?

can't help there the valuation rules are different in scotland, i would think they wouldn't bother sending someone out to value if they were concerned with your finances though. i'm not very clued up though.

I had a soft search on June 26 when I submitted other payslips. On June 30 I called for an update ad they said my mortgage adviser did not put the earnings correctly, so another adviser fixed all of it. I had another soft search from Halifax on July 1. Now I am just waiting. I hope they will give me good news!

Submitted 26th for us too.... now it's the waiting game.
15% deposit, affordability all good as including bills will be £400 less than the rent where we are. I HATE WAITING! It's with Halifax.
