Halifax mortgages - searches

Hi guys!
We’ve had our decision in principle back from Halifax, and are now waiting for our full application to be submitted.
My query is, what is seen during the soft search in order for the DIP to be issued?
We were not expecting our mortgage broker to go with a high street lender due to our previous history. We have a number of defaults and had a debt management plan in place for a number of years.
Would Halifax be aware of this already, having given us a DIP?
So worried it will be turned down

Halifax dont have a black and white approach to credit scoring and can always be worth a try.
Provided your broker has disclosed the defaults etc on the application then you should be fine.0 -

Feel sick waiting for the full application and there will be several sleepless nights ahead I think.

We had the DIP Wednesday, expecting our broker to put in our full application on Monday. Scared doesn't even cut it!
