Ah lockdown schools shut. Trying to sort my life out right now! Big hugs to those that need them!
  • Hope you manage to sort everything okay missy. Mine are all older and I'm not currently working. It's very short notice for everyone (although we knew it was coming) will be a lot of people not able to go to work tomorrow x

Hey lovelies, Happy New Year, it really does seem like forever ago though doesn’t it!
I had a proper meltdown yesterday and to be honest the day before. The one the day before was at OH and all the things that I’d been bottling up just came out. And we’ve cleared the air a lot. And yesterday was just purely being so completely overwhelmed with the new Lock Down situation. It’s the schools shutting which has done it. Of course it needed to be done. But the work the school is expecting us to do this time is crazy! And they’ve said it HAS to be done! I’m still trying to claw together work but lots of people have cancelled.

Spent yesterday sorting out the children’s bedroom. I put together a new shelf unit and their room looks a million times better, I sorted everything too with the help of the children and Alexa so that’s all good too. I’ve now got messy other rooms where I’ve moved stuff around, so need to spend a lot of time sorting those.  Got to go and train later and I really have lost my mojo for it. Would rather be at home sorting. But we’ll see how it goes.

I’ve already fallen at the first hurdle with shopping as I went out and bought sausages and potatoes last night. I really fancied them. And I was feeling so rubbish I went and got them. So I’m going to have to be even better with my next big shop.

I have so much to do today
I’ve already taught a class but I still need to:
    do washing
    Put children’s washing away
    sort airing cupboard
put stuff in truck ready for recycling
    make chilli
    do litter tray
    poss make stew
    train 😢
put clothes away in spare room
    put stuff in loft
pick up some bits in play room

    think that’s it for now.

Have also just realised I don’t have enough to pay the rent or bills at the moment as have £200 odd in my account. Will have to borrow it from the house deposit money, which is about £1k down from last month already. Really hoping the government help comes in soon else they’ll be no chance of buying a house any time this year 😢.

Ok have done pretty much nothing from my list. Am now sat on the sofa in my pjs watching tv and drinking tea. I trained and sorted the litter tray but that’s it. Ah just remembered I did do most of my tax return though which is good. I’m not feeling great I have a sinus infection and am a bit run down. Got to coach, train,
program, coach some more and home school tomorrow along with doing all the jobs I haven’t done today, and finish my tax return 😢.

I just don’t feel like doing anything! Which is very unlike me, I don’t even want to cook. I need to get this under control as im just eating crap all day!! Will try and start my day off right tomorrow and see if that makes a difference. Hope you’re all ok.

Ok so far have done all of home schooling apart from PE which we’ll do a bit later and Roo has a zoom meeting. I’ve done washing and sorted the other load and hung the wet stuff up. Made lunch.

i have a problem, I have lots of old children’s clothes and books and old toys that I’d usually give to the charity shops but they’re all shut. What can I do with it now?!
