  • Sending lots of hugs @missymoo81 ❤️ Sounds like you’re having a hard time of it. Sorry your OH is taking things so hard and taking them out on you. It’s tough you both being self employed as the govt support has been rubbish for many compared to most employed people who are getting 80% if they can’t work.

    I hope things brighten up a bit today.

    I get that your OH is struggling at the moment, but you and the kids shouldn't have to tiptoe around while he sits in a mood.  Your mental health counts too.  If you need to train, then train.  I know it's easier said than done, but you matter too!

    Big hugs Missy xxx

    I'm with jwil. I know it is SO hard (and believe me, I do know) but you MUST do things for yourself, or you'll end up resentful, and then you'll both be grumpy. He's going to be grumpy regardless of what you do - if you don't train, is that going to cheer him up? I very much doubt it. And if you don't train, then chances are you'll be grumpy too. So tell him you're going to train, and he can go and be in another room for half an hour if he wants. And then at least one of you has what you need. It's a good role model for the kids too - not to neglect their own needs because of the temper of someone else (a lesson I am still very much trying to learn myself...)

    xx

    Hey BlueGreen thanks for your support 💜.
    And thank you JWil, I appreciate it. I am going to do some sort of training. If not at the gym, in the garage.

    I’m going to make some 2021 goals. Self care mostly.

    Just wandered down to the shop with the children just for something to do. I spent £11.50 which I took out of OHs change. £2 of that was the children’s pocket money. I got 3 packs of reduced bananas, filter coffee. Which I was really happy about as I was going to get a Costa express which would have cost the same, and this way I get about 10 coffees for that! I got some tomatoes and broccoli and the children’s sweets and some yogurts and 2 shepherds pies.

    OH is still in bed. Going to leave him there. Just made the children’s lunch. Might have a little snooze snuggled next to the children.

    @Chrystal thank you x
    Well I’ve trained the class again today. I’m super tired though as May had me up in the night. She had a dream someone tried to steal her baby dolls. She was inconsolable! But I couldn’t get back to sleep! So got up showered and fed the children then dropped them off at their dads. Did the class, have made lunch and am currently setting up a FB business page for my online PT business hoping to get some more people to coach to make up for lost earnings!

    Hope you’re all ok and setting up for a happy chilled New Year’s Eve x
