No bananas in my Lidl box.

I had 2 boxes strawberries, 1 each cherries, mixed grapes, pack of 4 nectarines, bag of easy peelers, bag of satsumas, 4 baking potatoes, 2 huge sweet potatoes (1 was big enough for DH and I to share as a baked potato!), a red cabbage, pack of 2 red romaine hearts.  Not a bad haul for £1.50!

Yes you have to book for too good to go, so it’s just a case of timing it right. If it says when it went, the next day I’d try and get on 10minutes before.

Thanks PF! Everyone has been so helpful thank you.
ill do a proper update later. We opened the business yesterday, it was very full on! But good, and everyone stuck to the guidelines and everything was amazingly clean. But such a long day and I didn’t stop all day but great to be open.
OH is super stressed of course. And we have a photographer and newspaper journalist coming today which is great but again super stressful. I’d like to get to the park with the children later today.

I’ve let money slip a little bit so really need to look at that later. Hope you’re all ok.

Tha k you so much BlueGreen, JWil and magic cat. I really appreciate your kind wishes. OH is teaching right now so I’m just sitting with the children. We’ll be home around 3pm today, and I’m going to tidy the kitchen unload the DW and put the WM on. I need to water my tomato plant, I have a few tomatoes appearing so I need to make sure they don’t shrivel up! Of course the sun has gone in now though 🙄.

Need to EBay at least 5 things today. Have lots of shoes that are beautiful, stupidly high that I literally have worn maybe once 5 years ago and will never wear again. Also the GHDs I keep threatening to list!

Ended up spending £20 on a celebratory Late lunch Yesterday, for business opening again. Couldn’t really afford it so need to make that money back + the £1.86 I was short the other day.

I really want to get rid of some stuff, I feel like it’s weighing me down. But I’m very conscious I don’t want to get rid of stuff then need it again! Just need to go through my clothes really, and the kitchen cupboards.

Argh achieved nothing yesterday which is most annoying, did however go and see my dad with the smalls and it was so relaxing. To be away from home, work and to be honest OH and constant work talk and negativity! I stayed for hours and 2 cups of tea. But came home and had to go back to work. Have just found out we need to work Thursday too, so next day off won’t be until Sunday!!!!!! Head is so full and OH simply can’t switch off and is very stressed/grumpy and can NOT stop talking about work. EX text the children asking if they are doing anything fun with their holidays, knowing full well Business is open and I’m flat out. House is a tip and need to do and sort some washing. Made bolognese last night and it was vile?! No idea what I did wrong. So not sure what to do for dinner tonight. Got to go to work at 1230 as been working from home this morning. Then home for 2 back again for 1545 then finish at 1730 to rush home as have an online class at 1830!! Working at 0530 tomorrow for 8 hours then again at 1830 for online class. And the week goes on in a similar vein. So tired! But needs must I guess. Sorry for the tyraid of grumpiness!

hope you’re all ok. In other news I haven’t spent any money today or yesterday, despite desperately wanting a coffee on the drive to my dads yesterday. Need to get some bread and some more milk today, but that’s about it. Right best get myself looking presentable as have potential new people starting at work! Speak later, so sorry for the whingy post x

Your life sounds so busy @missymoo81. It’s amazing that you are keeping going with the financial goals when you have so much going on - you must be knackered! You put me to shame with how much you get done every day!

Thanks Bluegreen! Really appreciate you posting.

God today was hard, ended up working way more than I thought! Eating well has gone out of the window. had a pasty for lunch. Have managed two loads of washing and made curry for dinner. Work has gone really well and had some new People so hopefully more pennies coming in in a few weeks. Have a bid for £10 on my one item on ebay. Another V long day tomorrow! Really want to get to the park with the children in the afternoon. Very nearly bought a coffee today but managed to not, did get chicken and curry sauce from COOP for easY dinner. But managed to get the Children’s corn snacks for £1 for 18 which is great. If I remember I’m going to try for one of the lidl boxes tomorrow. Have to be at work for 6am with kids in tow. So 5am wake up! Don’t be home until 3.30. Then online class at 1830! Busy busy busy! Will try and write something more money etc related tomorrow! Much love!
