Second @joedenise on the repair...a darn might work for now.
my filter (at the bottom of the machine) always blocks up with pet hair...and it takes sooo long to drain the water and it still floods out!

Hey JoeDenise and Suzanne. Thanks so much for your replies, I THINK I’ve fixed it. When I came in from the park all I could smell was cat wee and big cat had only gone and weed all over their bed, so I had to wash it, washer was making some funny noises then stopped then actually went into the spin. So hopefully that’s fixed for now. Need to sort out another contingency pot of just in case the washing machine breaks fund. Just made a tuna casserole thing for the smalls on a whim, no recipe just guess work. It was great to make dinner with them and it smells great.

A bit cross OH is out and was meant to be back at 6 as class is in 13 minutes will be livid if he’s not back in time!!!!!

Well OH got home in the nick of time 🙄. Have literally not stopped working since 1830, only stopped to put the sheets on all the beds. Ate the tuna casserole whilst working, it was nice!

V pleased with the 7 sets of washing I managed to get washed and dried today too.

I’m £1.86 short on this months money. Need to find a way of selling something or other and getting that money into my bank account as it’s really Bothering me that it’s not there and things don’t add up.

You are amazing how much washing you get through, I find washing and drying two loads seems to take all day and my pile never gets any smaller!

You get through so much, sorry to hear how stressful things have been with the business starting back up.  Make sure you take time to look after yourself too.

Sorry if this is out of line, and I don't want to upset you, but I'm a bit confused as to what OH actually does?
Everything seems to fall on you, and when he's mentioned he seems to be behaving like a spoilt child who's not getting his own way ie sulk, stick fingers in ears give you the silent treatment, and even tell you that YOUR job needs to start quickly even whilst lockdown was on!  In other words that HE is the  only one that matters.
Does he ever help in the house?  With cleaning, cooking etc? Or is it just a case of when he's home he thinks all he has to do is play on his XBOX whilst you do evertthing else.

Sorry if I've mis interpreted things, but you seem to have an awful lot on your shoulders, with little, or no, help. X

Chrystal - that's how I read things too!  Missymoo seems to do everything and OH does virtually nothing!  So it's not just you that reads it like that.

I hope everything settles down a bit soon.  With my Lloyds account I have 4 savings accounts attached to it, I think you can have 5 in total so you might be able to get that extra account.

Just catching up on your diary, your OH sounds like mine with the stress and the faffing! Lol

Mine can get very stressed over work but over the course of a decade, I’ve learnt that sometimes he does just have these brain overloads.  When he does, I just crack on and know he will be a lot more useful in a couple of days.
I did have a very big rant at mine the other day over sharing housework.  I do a lot, as I want everything the way I want it, but it does mean a lot falls to me.  After my crazy ranting he even cleaned the oven!!!  And he’s made a huge effort to do more....sometimes they just need it to be pointed out that you are struggling.

Hey everyone, Ah i feel I may have painted OH in a poor light without meaning to! I do do an awful lot, especially with the children as they are mine and not his. And of course I list out all of the jobs I do around the house etc and not the ones he does. I do do a lot more, but my business is very small compared to his, with a lot less running, and his/ours is our bread and butter. Because it is our own business, it takes so much work to run, even whilst we are at home, he is constantly working. He is good and if I ask will do anything around the house. But he's usually working and its quicker for me to do it. He does clean the house, he's the one that cleans the bathrooms and hoovers, but that's mostly because he has OCD and I can't make it clean enough. OH doesn't cope with stress very well, both his parents died when he was really young and I think it had a bit of a knock on effect with how he copes with things (not making excuses, just telling it as I see it) and I actually think he's borderline BiPolar. But since we've been together he's been a lot better, less and less things cause major meltdowns and he's able to process things a lot better. But this is such a stressful, unprecedented time and we still don't know if the businesses will survive that obviously everyone is struggling. Thank you all so much for your concern.

Ok so back to today, yesterday was the longest day! We open tomorrow and its taking so long to get everything sorted. We ended up having fish and chips as we got caught in a traffic diversion which took forever and it was so late, but I had cash that I hadn't accounted for in my purse, as any cash I have is usable for things.

So money wise I won't need to spend anything today. Need to remember to take the drill to work to finish some jobs. I have some washing in so I'll have to hang that out before I leave today. Forgot to say I managed to sort the shoe cupboard the other day, it was so full of stuff that didn't fit, so I've sorted that out and have a bag for the charity. Still need to put all of the clothes away from the mammoth washing session the other day, so will try and do that over the weekend. I've managed to get a few surveys done the past couple of days too which is good. Really do need to try and make a little bit extra money, I'm going to try matched betting when I have a little bit more time so I'll see how I get on with that. Will look into it on Tuesday/Wednesday evening as OH is at work.

We're working all day today, tomorrow, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and should get a day off on Thursday.
Although Sunday afternoon we should be back early-ish so I'm hoping to take the children to the park or to the beach.

Foodwise today, cereal or porridge for breakfast, sandwiches and crisps for lunch and Chilli for dinner, the children will have the left over tuna pasta.

Sorry I'm just rambling... hope you all have a good day, I will update later.

Glad to hear your OH does help out with household chores and it's not all left to you but it certainly seemed that wasn't the case!  Sorry for misreading your posts.

Sounds like you're going to be really busy for the next few days - it's not surprising you are always tired.  You have some very long days.
