You can make frying pan pizza with SR raising flour. Recipe here:

Not sure if you can make it with yeast though, think you'd need plain for that.

Oh thank you that’s perfect! I’ve got courgettes to use up too! Also jack monroes falafel recipe looks awesome and I think I’m going to make flat breads too. Might try these at some point over the weekend.2

Ok have spent Another £4 on crisps for the children for when they’re back home. I got 72 packets for that and They’re puffed corn ones and little packets so I don’t feel so bad about them having them as a ‘treat’ with lunch. I fancied a walk and I don’t know how long our coop will stock them for as they’re a random make hence why I bought so many. They’re under the stairs in a little stock pile so should help save money in the long run. Having last nights dinner tonight, so steak, salad and potato salad. Then we’re going to watch the launch. I’ve done very little today and feel really lazy and a little grumpy as OH has gone out and I missed a message from the children
. Sat outside having a nice cuppa hoping to make myself feel better.

Went for a walk down to the river with OH it was beautiful and we watched the Launch down there, as we thought it was at 9.22 but realised it was at 8.22pm and just managed to switch the phone on in time, and we watched it all! Such a great thing to watch and down by the river just made it perfect. About to make dinner and then watch a film.1

Hi Clarissa, thanks so much for popping in. It’s hard times for a lot of people isn’t it. It’s trying to stop buying the little things in a whim that I’m finding hard. I’m always just getting something or other, mostly for the children on amazon or eBay and I keep having to stop myself and say ‘do they really need it’ and more often than not the answer is no!Today will be a tiny spend day, we’re going on a ride out in the motorbike with friends and riding to the seafront, and I imagine we’ll have ice cream or similar, but I think OH will prob pay.I can’t remember if I said I got £25 from a sale of a top, it’s cash so it’s gone into my purse, I spent £4 of it yesterday on the crisps for the children.I absolutely want to sort the washing out today, (I’ve put want instead of need in the hope it will make me do it!) it just needs Sorting and putting away, shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours. Going to have pancakes for breakfast with some of the fruit that needs eating, probably just a snack for late lunch, then Thai green curry and rice for dinner. Hope you’re all doing ok and enjoying the sunshine x1

Well it’s been a rather long day so far, am only just back from being out on the bikes, we did get ice cream but it was cash only, so I paid and friends gave me some money so I ended up only paying £1.50. So that’s good. And other friends popped round and brought us round a cafetière! Ours got broken by the cat last week and I very nearly bought a new one on Amazon last week but couldn’t warrant the £19 or so, so I’m chuffed to bits and it’s literally the one I would have bought anyway and identical to the one that was broken! Happy days! Not sure about curry for dinner now, maybe we’ll just have burgers from the freezer and sweet potato wedges and broccoli.... we’ll see.Havent sorted the washing yet will do some tonight whilst OH waters the grass.
Having a thought about buying things. Of course I’m still going to want and need to buy some things, like there’s a really nice long sleeved t-shirt Roo would love on eBay, he needs 2 more as he only has one. it’s reduced but it’s more than I would normally pay as usually buy primark stuff. But if I can sell a similar priced thing on eBay, or take those gym clothes back that I said I would, then I could happily use that money as it’s not hurting the budget. Not that I’d spend it all on things, just the odd thing like that and put anything else into the contingency pot I think that’s ok.2 -
Ok, so didn’t have that for dinner, I did burgers with sweet potato wedges and beans and bread and butter. Couldn’t do broccoli as it was rather past it’s best and OH wouldn’t hVe eaten it but I’m not sure what to do with it, I don’t want to chuck it, it’s just a tiny bit yellow, any thoughts? I could roast it I guess.....
Just About to watch a film on Netflix and that will be our evening.1 -
Broccoli cheese or, if you've got a small amount of blue cheese, broccoli & blue cheese soup. If you haven't got any blue cheese then just broccoli soup.
