Payslips whilst on furlough

  • It's simple : RTI submitted figures by Employers MUST match actual payments to Employees else breach of law.

My expected pay doesn't match what's been entered on my personal tax account and no breach of law, as HMRC didn't want to know when I reported it. They said to just refer matter to my employers. I haven't been paid at all, although thankfully I'm expecting the funds today. So even in my case, where no funds have been paid yet RTI shows I have, doesn't concern HMRC.

You should be being paid as normal and the employer should be claiming it back.
Submitting the paperwork to HMRC to say they have paid you, but not actually giving you the money is definitely dodgey.
Of course, if the employer is up against the wall and has no cashflow, as suggested by the comment that they are paying from their personal account, then the option might be that they go bust.

That’s what HMRC have said yet she’s still pleading that HMRC give her the figures yet HMRC have confirmed they do not do that. Which I have in black and white

She made it clear when she furloughed us she had no funds so would have to wait for the furlough money before she could pay us. She is still doing takeaways so has some money coming in and has two old members of staff who left helping her with that so I believe she is using some of what she isn’t paying us to pay them cash
We as employees all need to stick together on this. I’m in contact with other staff who she’s also short paid

She should be familiar enough by now to make the claim in good enough time to receive the money from HMRC in time to pay you on your usual pay date. She (or her accountant) should run payroll as usual (reduced to whatever pay you agreed, which must be at least 80% of your reference salary) and you should get a payslip as usual. Log on to your personal tax account and see what she says she's been paying you.
I’ve checked my HMRC app and according to what it’s saying I should of been paid between 9th April and 29th may, would mean I’m £194 short. Something isn’t adding up. I’ve been told the employers know when they are getting the money and then they can know when staff will receive it. She thinks it’s for two weeks pay!! She’s also told another member of staff she hasn’t got the accountants number as she’s had a new phone, they wanted to call him to find out about payments
    Hi,
How did you access your furlough expected payments via HMRC?
I'm on my personal tax account page and can't find anything.

If there's nothing there then your employer hasn't reported the earnings, therefore there's nothing for you to receive.

My employer reported around £280 in earnings for this month. I suspected that this wasn't my full entitlement and emailed payroll two days ago.

Now I have a separate transaction pending for 01/06/2020 for £70 incoming from my employer for an unknown reason - undeclared on hmrc website.

I'm so confused!! Was expecting like £500 furlough

Just posting to say that idenoo is not the OP and their queries are not related to the OP and run the risk of taking this thread off topic if continued.   Idenoo, please take your questions to a new thread if you want to continue as its not fair on Hollie84 if you hijack her thread.  If a board admin sees this, maybe they could split idenoo's posts and responses to those to a new thread?

Sorry for late reply. Sign in to
your tax app/account. Where it states employer and info click on that, scroll down it’ll say income received to date and a figure. Under that it’ll say check payments, click that then it’ll tell you what you should have received. I’m weekly so mines shown weekly.
Although this Friday coming there has been a significant drop from what weeks 1-7 has shown
