Sounds like a business in deep financial trouble.....Hollie84 said:Ok thank you for your reply. Yes my boss is paying me from her personal account not the normal business name it comes from. Unsure if I need to show payslips for anything now how I can prove my earnings. She is waiting for the money to be deposited before paying us. She said she doesn’t have the funds to pay us then claim back0 -

Rather than start with the fraud line, speak to HMRC PAYE and see what they say first. Remember she can always make you redundant.0

As far as I’m aware there are no official Lines of contact to HRMC for employees atm, they’re all geared towards the employer. The info I have read says the onus is on the employer to keep their employees up to date with information and to transfer payments received immediately and to ask them not to contact HRMC as they cannot give payment information to the employee.
Its all set up grand for unscrupulous employers as it currently stands.
I would stress to the OP previous advice that going forward they can simply stop claiming furlough payments on your behalf and make you redundant sooner rather than later.
Which is the single only reason I am holding out reporting my employer at this present time.
I strongly suspect that once the employers contributions information is clarified by the government many in the hospitality trade will then be made redundant regardless.
If companies are now illegally withholding and delaying making furlough payments they’re hardly going to then put their hands in their own pockets to assist paying the staff.0 -
What would you suggest is the best step forward then? There is only a number to report suspected fraud?? I’m a mum with two kiddies and a mortgage, I can’t afford to be £300 short then whatever she decides to short me next time. It’s not just me she’s doing it to it’s also other employeesJeremy535897 said:Rather than start with the fraud line, speak to HMRC PAYE and see what they say first. I have had a web chat with HMRC they have confirmed that she isn’t paying me my full furlough pay and that she is legally required to provide pay slips. She is also telling HMRC she is paying us weekly which she isn’t.Jeremy535897 said:
they've told me to contact ACAS which I have and I’ve now put together a letter giving her 7 days to pay my outstanding furlough pay before I make a legal complaint. Seems she may have a few emails over the next week from all her staff2 -
That's good news.0

I’d like to hope so but seems she’s still claiming she gets the figures from HMRC and there isn’t any payslips.Jeremy535897 said:That's good news. She’s told me she’s forwarded my email to her accountant and that she’s not rushing him to deal with it. The fight continues0 -
It's simple : RTI submitted figures by Employers MUST match actual payments to Employees else breach of law.
