I reckon the stamp shops go pretty quickly. I usually do about 5 or 6 of these a month. There were 1570 that went on at about 18.20 yesterday, but they were disappearing at the rate of about 100 every 20 mins or so.

They seem to put them on around the middle of the month, which is why I thought they might have appeared last Mon, but it was this Mon. You have to be pretty quick off the mark, although looking now, there are still 200 left - maybe just none near you?

Well I emailed them this morning and, shock horror!! Got an almost immediate reply from Semra :T

I've apparantly accidently blocked myself through the screening questions - DURRRR!!!! She has sent through a request to get it unblocked, however this may take up to 4 weeks.

Still, at least I know why I'm not seeing them anymore!!!! :rotfl:

  • Thats good to hear Tgirl! I wish I had done that with the burger jobs :rotfl:

With regards to my bar meal with RE I just logged back on only to find the job awaiting the date to be set and then I get email from RE stating they made mistake with the dates loaded on the system  So I have released the job (with no loss of points ;)) as its a few weeks later than I wanted!!

Well done chocbutton I thought about it for....1 second but then thought I would be way too shy and thought if they show me on tv I would get funny looks everywhere! |But didn't even think about getting my face blanked LOL! Good luck and I will watch out for you!
But yes you do need to put across that its not easy money/tax implications etc :D

Exactly...I'm sure most people don't have a clue about the sheer amount of precise details that are required of us.
Shame I can't get channel 5 reception, it would be interesting to see.
  • Thanks for this info, could come in useful. I didn't realise you had to tell the tax people. I am slightly confused though - does that mean you can be both employed and self employed? I signed up with a Mystery Shopping Agency about a year ago and never heard anything, so do I still have to tell them or not because I assume I won't hear from them now? Also, just so I can get it straight in my head, you don't get taxed on mileage/subsistence? It does seem like a lot hassle for doing something you might only get £10 from before you are taxed. Is it really worth it?

You're not the 1st person to say they thought they were entered over night - I wonder if some are entered in Oz and some over here - maybe the toy shops, petrol and coffee go on over night?

What's the 15 maximum you were talking about - is that the max no. of chicken jobs? I've done more than 15 jobs in a month, for the buster people, but across different jobs?
No, no chicken, the last couple of months everytime I reach 15 I get a pop up message saying that I can only do 15 this month. May be it is because I have only been with them since November. May be this restriction gets lifted after a certain period?
  • Hi everyone, first post and I just wanted to say thanks for so much info on this thread. I signed up with all the companies a couple weeks ago and have since done 4 shops with another 5 planned. Only thing is that there doesn't seem to be a great amount of work down my neck of the woods (strange because Plymouth is a pretty big city) so jobs don't seem to crop up as often as i'd like but hey ho....beggars can't be choosers.

Had the same problem as Leia with the pub jobs but thankfully the alternative dates work for me too.
Proud to be dealing with my debts:money:
  • BTW, do BARE have many jobs in the UK as i've only had one come up in searches over the past three weeks for the whole Devon and Cornwall?
