  • How long do you need to be with Gap before you get coffe jobs? Ta
I don't think there is a time limit as such. You have to request to do them, and see if you get a reply from it. There might be so many people in your area doing the coffee jobs already, so you might have to wait. I emailed them about the coffee shops and got a call the same day.
    Fingers crossed for you.

You also need to be sent special equipment! (After all, you have to know that your coffee is in good health! :p)

    I've been Money Tipped!
How long do you keep your paperwork for? And how many times have you needed to refer to it? I've never been asked for more info on any job over the past 3 years and the amount of paperwork keeps growing and I'm thinking should I just bin it after 1 month instead of 3 (or 6 in some cases) or has anyone actually experienced a phone call 2-3 months after a job? Thanks

I managed to pick up quite a few from Gap last night/this morning.

The toy and coffee ones weren't there last night, but were there first thing.

And has anyone seen any Stamp jobs on Gap lately? That was actually the main reason I joined Gap, to do those, and I've not seen any since the summer!!
I saw about 700 available at about 9.30 last night, and there still 270 available at this minute. I hope that you can still find some near you.
I seem to reach my 15 quota (without any chicken) before the month starts! and then I just sit there watching things come up and disappear:mad:

Do you know what I do?: After 3 months, I reuse the same paper and print on the other side. Simply because I hate wasting paper! After that they are shreded and added to the compost heap.
I think they are kept for reference "in case" of any negative outcome to the shop. I know that some companies keep records of these in the relevant's staff personnel folder.

For tax purposes you must keep relevant paperwork for six years (correct me if I am wrong) IMHO, provided you can justify/prove the pizzas and burgers you have claimed for as being legitimate business expenses (ie. no way would you have bought it unless it had been for an assignment) I guess you don't need copies of the reports.

Think I'll play it safe and keep it all for the required six years. Just in case.

I print everything double sided anyway - once the 3 or 6 months are up [GAP seem to now be insisting on 6 months], it gets used as fuel in the wood burner or put onto the compost heap.

I keep the front page and the receipt for tax purposes though but not the whole lot. I do make additional notes on the front page anyway such as left and right buildings etc.

  • Can anyone who does coffee assignments for Gap please help me??

The ruddy stopwatch they sent me has an alarm on it, which goes off at 12:00 midday every day and I can't for the life of me work out how to switch the darn thing off.

    Any ideas?????
