I did a job for Optimum Contact on the 9th June. I have tried to raise an invoice but because the job still says unreviewed I can't seem to get any further. This was my first job for them so I don't know their system very well. What does unreviewed mean? Does it just mean that they have not looked at it yet? I did e-mail them a few days ago but have heard nothing from them yet.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Do you know the end date of the assignment? OC usually say something like 'this assignment can be carried out anytime from the 1st of the month to the end date' - this is usually somewhere in the gumpf of the email. I don't think they review them until this date - or that is what happened the last couple of jobs I have done for them. But, once its reviewed it usually takes about a day and then you can raise away! HTH :D

I've got my first financial phone assignment tomorrow with GFK. Just wondering if you tried to fill in the questionnaire as you went (which seems a little difficult) or if you just made lots of notes throughout and filled it out after. Any tips would be much appreciated :) Just don't want to forget anything!

I guess these jobs get easier with practice but some pointers would really help. Thanks,

I sort of spilt a piece of paper into two columns and I right a couple of notes in one column like:

    time start
    time end
    name
asked such and such y or n

you know all the key points the questionnaire wants but just things I can tick or code in my own special way( :rotfl:). Then in the other column I write bullet points of the things I'm supposed to say/prompt and then tick them off as I go too.

    Hi,
I have been looking through the questionnaire and then writing down key points I need to remember. I write down my scenario and then put things like name...
    seconds taken to answer....
    transferred....
The things I think I might forget. I can usually remember whether they were friendly, polite etc etc.
Then I can just jot bits of info on my notepad while talking rather than scanning the questionnaire for the right bit!

Hope that helps a bit. It'll be fine!

In response to those enquiring about bingo jobs, if you've applied to those companies on the first post, then, these jobs will come after you've done a few shops with them.

Everyone seems to be obsessed with bingo recently! Is Bingo just for female shoppers does anyone know?

I've got a stupid GAP stamp job soon where I need to be a newly-employed bereaved car owner. The brief says to make a small £X purchase. Do I have to spend over X as usual or is any amount OK?

    psssssst.....the answer is A, B, B, C, B, A ;)

Lol; what sort of quiz? The answers are in the briefing notes; I think you can open up the pdf of info and read it whilst doing the test (GAP?).
