Oh, thanks for all the replys, I did think this forum was very nice, just did not feel too good about having snooped around for so long,
I thought the spend a little live a lot is not the wee shop but the other one, could anyone clarify or maybe PM me, whatever that is?

It might be worth emailing a couple of companies to ask if they've got anything. In the past TNS and GfK have both emailed me to say they have airport jobs available (although never when I'm actually going anywhere :rolleyes:)

Are you with TNS? On their website it says:

Hi Guys,

Can anyone enlighten me with GAP and how long it takes to actually receive any money from them please.

I've completed 6 jobs for them since 23rd May and not received any money yet. I've checked my bank details and they're all correct.

Also, I've received emails stating that some reports have been sent to a pending database and somebody may contact me but nobody has as yet.

Doesn't seem to be anywhere on the site which tells me if the jobs have been completed successfully.

Any thoughts?

I'm sure it says on post one of this thread (timmnes great sticky one), but just in case they pay you in the month AFTER you have completed a shop. HTH

it's a 'how long is piece of string' question I realise, just a ball park figure please or a range

I've just checked the Gap website and see that it is £8, the first site I checked I couldn't see any such details

Correct, jobs completed 1st-31st May will be paid on or after 24th June.
Jobs completed 1st-30th June will be paid on or after 24th July etc..

With Gap, you get paid (around about) the 24th/25th of the month following the month in which you did the job. So the jobs you did in May will be paid some time next week and the June ones the following month.

If no-one has contacted you re: your assignments, use the old addage "no news is good news". They'll only contact you if there is a problem.

And the only place you'll see jobs you've done is on the "My Assignments" page. They won't send notification of what's been paid and what hasn't, you have to tally it up for yourself!

I've now got a nice neat cribsheet with probably more on there than I'll need but I feel nice and prepared now. I had started noting on a piece of paper the main points but realised none of it was in the order the call would go so did it quickly in Word. I knew you guys would help

If only I could use a sheet for bank jobs - theres one local to me but it seems like a lot to remember. I'll bite the bullet soon and go for it........
