I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but 200+ pages is lot to sift through!

How much do you get paid for a job?

it's a 'how long is piece of string' question I realise, just a ball park figure please or a range

    Thanks

It's an impossible question really; from zero to much more. Depends on the type of job you do, which company you do it on behalf of, what you have to do as part of the job......

Depends on what the job is, who it is for, what you have to do. Some jobs you just get a flat fee, others you have to make a purchase so you would be reimbursed for that and/or a fee on top.

So nigh on impossible to give a ball park figure.

The range is HUGE, depending on which companies you work for. It ranges from £0 (where they think it's enough just to give you a 'free' coffee or a pub lunch) to say £60 (e.g. for a couple of recorded in-depth visits)

I applied for GFK on Saturday and received an email back saying they would be in touch but nothing else. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to say whether you have been accepted ?

    Thanks
  • I have done mysteryshopping for some years now, and just recently signed up with a few more companies, but so far I haven't seen a glimpse of the Portugese chicken place. If anyone would be able to enlighten me, please feel free to pm me! ;)

Unless things have changed much over the last three years I personally think these mystery shopping job sites don't actually pay enough - one task I did (full story here) took a total of five hours, 40 miles driving for twenty quid - ITCH

I think they are probably going through them all now. I applied a few days ago and got an email back today to do the test/give bank details. Then they have to add you to the shoppers. For quite a while they were only accepting applications from certain places so now maybe they have been bombarded.

hi, if someone could pm me with the name of the company that does the well known german store that would be truly wonderful

did my first two gap jobs yesterday, assasia this morning, bare this morning, gfk tomorrow...think i am getting the hang of this...more phone jobs would be good tho cos they dont involve all the travelling..

I'm still not clear on which store this is. Is it the food shop? Wouldn't it be OK to say the name if we only PM the answer and don't post??????
