Sorry to be the bearer of bad new branston, but Gap only pay a reimbursement of £12 or £19 for the pizza shops. This has to cover your food, printing costs, tax, mileage etc.
It's OK if you look at it as a free/cheap meal, but not in terms of making money!0 -

The petrol ones came up on sunday night, I stayed up to enter some results and saw 200 of them with 5 just few minutes drive from me. I did the test thinking that I might get some, and yes they were still there. When I went to select one. I got the message that I am only allowed 15 a day! No.... I did not book any assignments for 2 weeks! and my car is desperate for some petrol. The assignments did disappear before my eyes. So my lesson is not to over book in the begining of the month.TractorGirl327 wrote: »I think a load went on yesterday afternoon as in the evening when I did a search by client name there were petrol places, grocery stores, toy shops and mobile phone stores in other areas that I hadn't seen before. Timmne, unless you live in a very small village, I don't think you have been found out. I know this job could be a pain, especially when the weather is like this and we are getting soaked, held up in traffic, "frost bites" ...Just so not to disapoint and deliver on time! but it is ok and fun in other times, and most of all it gives you the flexibility to do other things. As for those who don't pay much sooner or later no one will accept them! I hope!I'm feeling really un-motivated at the moment; haven't logged on to any MSing sites for about 5 days now and I really can't be bothered! I think it might be due to Christmas and having 3 weeks off doing any shops at all and realising how much fun life is without MSing (until the money stops coming in at a guess....)
I think what might have killed it is Retail Eyes' RIDICULOUS drop in fees for certain restaurant chain shops by 30% and them expecting us to just accept it. What's more annoying is that people ARE accepting the jobs still which means 12 months down the line RE will have managed to scrap the fee all together and pay only a reimbursement, which is something GAP have managed to do already with some jobs.
The other thing that's put me off slightly is that I did a phone MS last weekend and I knew some of the staff in there from other MSs I've done as they must have transferred branches. This means that I'm actually getting known around my city so I get eyeballed every time I go into the shops I've visited! I actually got asked if I was "OK sir?" in a stationery shop TWICE last week - this is really offputting seeing as I've never done this shop and I'm not even sure this shop uses MSers!
Ahh well.....
Any encouragement from those still enthused?
Keep it up! As for TNS I have failed the test the first time because I couldn't be bothered with the answers. I have done it again and this time properly and passed. They are desperate for male shoppers at the moment.:o

Hi
Can anyone help?
I've applied three times (over several months) to join gap and have never heard anything back from them at all.
Am I unusual, too old, not qualified enough, doing something wrong on the application?
Anybody else had this?
I work a lot for several other companies with no problems.
Same here - work for a couple of other companies -applied 3 times to Gap and not heard a dickybird, no idea why!0 -
You get an I.D pass so they do know who you are. I did a similar one for bare about tv stands. Didn't get an i.d pass though so was quite interesting to watch the people in there looking at me like a nut job!!:rotfl:princess_leia wrote: »Don't know what they were/are??
