This is odd. I just checked it again and I have a premium fee. No idea why as it is available up till this Friday. Can someone help me with it though. When I click fee it just briefly mentions the monthly spend amount, and mentions re the scenario. I have only ever done one job for them before. Same mobie shop. Where is the scenario though???

Am off to bingo doing a MS. Maybe I will win the National ( about 1 million). :rotfl:The donate my fee to charity.:T
As cookinmummy said it'll be somewhere in the gumpf! :)
I actually did a number-phone competitor store the other day which didn't specify a scenario anywhere, which was quite useful because I am looking for a new phone (and can't go in 9/10 of the phone stores in my high street....I'm too much of a regular!).

I booked an urgent job with TNS yesterday and had to ask for extra mileage; it wasn't much but I was wondering if they are ever negotiable on the fee if things are desperate...?

Does anyone know if I can send several lots of train tickets back to GfK in the same envelope, or do they like it all separate?

Thats right Johnny - gumpf :p

With TNS, I have found they are negotiable and have been paid extra - just ring or email your area manager.

As to the GFK tickets - I'd love to know the answer too!
  • TNS wise, can someone advise me on the answers, I started doing it and couldnt understand the test! I couldnt find the answers anywhere, any suggestions please PM me.

Did someone say that GfK didnt show the previously completed jobs when you had been paid? I checked the other day and it now shows the previously completed jobs for each payday.

Is it just me or are the perks of mystery shopping not all they're cracked up to be?

I have never understood why mystery shoppers get so excited in free meals which they often eat alone in a burger or pizza place, especially when they may not even get a fee for the work!

If you are married (espcially if you have a family), then there are more perks available - visits to cinemas, bowling alleys, holidays etc.

Being disabled, I once did a shop where I got to keep a £30 jacket as well as getting paid for the job.

But it seems I have just got really lucky with a long haul flight to somewhere I wanted to fly to anyway and I will get to visit some friends whilst I am there for a week.

Well done Paul, it's a perk well worth having, quite valuable. I do have a family and hope to see some of those bowling and cinema visits soon.

I quite like the sandwich ones as I stock up on crisps/deserts and it saves me on lunch spends. But in general the perks aren't that good. I did have a pub visit this week and the pub wasn't serving food so i spent all of the allowance on booze instead!

    Help! (please :))

Im trying to do my report online for RE and I have got to the last page of the questionnaire and then when I click submit on that page a box comes up that says "your report is being verified" or something similar and then it doesnt do anything! I've tried it a couple of times and in explorer and firefox but still nothing.

No one in the office - they have all gone home.

Aggh! I read this before I went out for a dinner MS and come home to do my report and guess what...? Yep the report won't submit!! I'm getting the same message - "your answers are being validated" and it's just hanging.

I really hope (but really doubt) that the answers are saved and I don't have to do it all again tomorrow

Fingers crossed for you and me cranezoe, and anyone else who was thinking about submitting an RE report tonight - DON'T!!!

Yeah I had a coffee job at breakfast time today so I went before work and got my coffee and small food item which I had for breakfast then also bought a sandwich which I ate for my lunch. I like it when it works out like that.

Especially as I had this one booked in tonight for dinner so I've had 3 free meals tosay and only 2 reports. Just wish this last one would submit!
  • Very good point about checking-in online for MS flights; it may not be an acceptable scenario!

I certianly do not want to make a mess of such an important shop and I wonder if shoppers make notes on board the plane, in the airport etc?

    Thanks for all the info!

On my assignment I was asked to check in online, which made it even easier for me.

I usually use my mobile phone and pretend to be texting or something if I need to take any notes, but you can't really do that in an airplane, can you! :p
