My questions required me to start a new job, buy a new car and be bereaved all in the same week...
Crikey auntypog you better get a MS which gives you counselling. I am a qualified nurse ( ex now got fed up with it) and did a course once on causes of stress. There was a big list of events and they all had a stress score.
Bereavement was way at the top, new job was near the top, divorce was also high and making a major financial purchase was also very high. Next up was moving house. Strangely going on holiday also had a high score.
So with your new job, new car and your bereavement you must be verging on a nervous breakdown.:rotfl::rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Not sure which site you are looking. They have two sites which is abit strange. Go to https://www.oc-pulse.com/pulseAssessor/content/default.asp and enter your username and password. If you have not been given a password just click on "click here for password reminder". Once you have logged in, on the left hand side it should say "bulk surverys" once you have clicked on there it will shows some information in pdf format for each company. It has information about the company and has sample surverys. Once these are read you can go to start new survery. This will show you the amount of customers available and how much you receive for each one you complete.
At the moment there none available which is unusual as there are some most of the time.
Please be prepared that most of the time people are out and not available so you might call 5-10 numbers and might catch one person. You only get paid for a completed survey.
Any questions you can pm me
I was registered with them ages before I got an email offering me a bank assessment job. Since then I have got around 2 each month. I would suggest emailing or ringing them as they are very helpful and pleasant on the phone. That way it puts you in their mind so to speak. Worked for me. Also try applying for one of the flights. Even if you don't get it it registers your interest.
I have a flight early July so I am going to try and up it by applying for one of the other companies who do airside eateries. My motto is you don't ask you don't get.
Another point of interest for everyone. Before joining here I googled MS forums and joined one till I realised they were all US posters. They take a different attitude to us. They when they see a job they fancy but the fee is rubbish phone the company and say "I can do that but you will need to up the fee to cover my gas etc" And often it works. I do laugh though currently they are all squealing about the price of "gas" at $3 a gallon. When I told them how much our petrol is currently I got told " Ah but you British have little dinky cars"Clique member no 1.:D0 -

That's really weird - that was the link I was using before, and I don't have bulk surveys anywhere there? Oh well! Think I'll just stick with the MSing!!
Thanks anyway. :beer:0 -
They dont have shop visits like most other mystery shop companies. The're main type of mystery shopping is making telephone calls to customers. Go to their website and select start new survey which will show you the companies available for telephone surveys.
There are posh supermarket jobs on there tho? Will check out the survey bit, but don't want to do calling only shopping.0 -
Hmm not happy with Gap. They phoned last week begging me to do some "stamp shop" jobs this week. I have 4 booked today and tomorrow all in different areas.
Just reading the briefs and it says I have to pay with a specific debit card. I don't have a debit card with any of the banks on their list. I have a Halifax or a NatWest card. Why do you think they ask us to use a specific card?
So I've just had to cancel them all. Not happy at all. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

When you consider the choice of debit cards we have why do they want one specific one. How will they know which one you use anyway as it won't show up on the receipt. I would just have gone ahead and done it with the card you have.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I think the stamp shop have some sort of banking facility with those banks and so if you use that card they can offer you some other service alongside whatever you're in there asking about.0 -

Yes I did consider that, but I have to purchase an A4 jiffy bag and send it somewhere by special delivery so I don't want to be out of pocket if they refuse to pay. 4 jobs = over £20 in costs to lose if they get pedantic about itWe’ve had to remove your signature. If you have one of the mentioned cards then you can withdraw cash at a stamp shop, so its testing staff if they offer that service.
The stamp shops I've got can be paid by card or cash.
P.S. I think they can tell which card it is by the numbers on the receipt so probably not worth the risk if paying by the wrong card.0
