Dont think I'll be doing anything for IMS again

I did a job for them on 29th APRIL and guess when they are going to pay me for it?

    Go on, guess ......................

GfK get the best paperwork and service award in my opinion.

However as others state, Gap are garbage and dont offer a fee?

RE - never had the experience of doing a shop, similarly with TNS.

I like the fact that with GFK you can delete any jobs you don't want to do so they don't always show up when you search. I dont like the way you cant look back on previous jobs though.

Gap - I like the fact that its easy to change the date or cancel the assignments, and the fact that you CAN see previous jobs. Also like the fact you can search any area(s) you want, and can search by client as well.

Grassroots is good, but I'd like to be able to change dates myself without having to email them

RE is fine but again, there are so many jobs, I'd like to be able to hide those I'm not interested in so they're not there every time I log in.

Does anyone else think that the GAP stamp shop questions are ridiculous, I have one today and appear to have to ask 3 completely different questions on completely unrelated topics, surely I'd be better going wearing a "I'm a Mystery Shopper" T-shirt?

My questions required me to start a new job, buy a new car and be bereaved all in the same week...

Still quicker than GAP, if you do jobs at the start of a month. ;)

    I agree with that one.

Has anybody else had any problems with full details not being on their coversheet? Can I name names?

I did a MS for someone last week but now they are not paying out as saying I did not fulfil one of the tasks. But it wasn't on my cover sheet! I know it wasn't there cos I double checked it out. Unfortunatley my printer is out of ink so I wasn't able to print it out.

They won't pay out now as I didn't have a copy of the top cover sheet. But I am sure if we have to keep copies they would too?

Fellow MS'ers, what do you think of this?

I have a train station booked with GFK for which I have to send the tickets back for reimbursement. Now I know it's a freepost address but I always like to sent it recorded (70p) for evidence if anything was to go astray. After that I have a stamp shop booked with GAP for which I have to send a letter and get proof of posting...

I plan on sending the letter (part of the address is GFK MYSTERY SHOPPING) at the stamp shop, do you think the assistant will catch on? :p :rotfl:

Same here, though now can't actually enter my results as questions on the online system are completely different.

They really should come up with some better scenarios, though its just another example of trying to get as much as possible out of us for as little as possible, serves them right if we get sussed
  • HELP! Just travelled 10 miles for a petrol job, and the place was shut! this was 8ish and the times on the door clearly said closes 21.00.

I know nornally the company(GAP) will pay the fee & not the reimbursement, but it was reimbursement only! Shall I do the report for the outside? I deffo want paying!
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!
