The shopping list is just to prompt you, so you can look at it discreetly without being spotted - looks like a normal list when you're shopping.

The small supermarket has no specific things you need to buy and I don't think the big one does either; 95% sure!

The last Express supermarkets I did, did specify to buy a bulky item. Free choice as to what, but that was required.

Does anyone else think that the GAP stamp shop questions are ridiculous, I have one today and appear to have to ask 3 completely different questions on completely unrelated topics, surely I'd be better going wearing a "I'm a Mystery Shopper" T-shirt?

    Wear a t-shirt with a big ? on it.

    Always a winner! :money:

I do sometimes (when in there for 'pleasure') at gapburger places, feel like coughing "gapbuster" at the assistant - just such fun! :D

The pizza jobs at GAP are a little giveawayish too - they're supposed to be almost sitting on your lap and you're supposed to be asking/prompting them to get excited about what you've ordered?!!

Like me you mean? It's my new year's resolution to not buy toilet rolls with MY money; instead only use MSing jobs in supermarkets to pay for them as part of the spend - this means I have at least 40 toilet rolls stashed away, making the job of explaining my store cupboard to friends, a little difficult!

Timmne, nice one! I think I might pinch your new years resolution and make a mid new year one for me. I have a spare room in my flat which could be used to store MSing loo rolls....

So is it advisable to register with several MS agencies? I am looking to do things a couple of week day evenings and a mixture of all weekend, mornings or afternoons depending on other commitments (football matches, agency driving).

Definitely. You don't have to do all the ms jobs offered, but sometimes one company goes quiet or you have done too many particular jobs - so best to keep your fingers in a few pies;)

I would agree with that advice. For instance I am with GFK among others. Used to get loads of jobs for them and lately every time I log on I get sod all. Yet they phoned me the other week to do a job in under an hours notice as someone had cancelled and I did it.

I must confess to being a serial moaner on here. You know some of the crap fees, stupid scenarios etc. But I recently did the TNS test and got accepted. I have now got my 1st job with them and got a nice email saying "Welcome xxxxxx hope this is the first of many jobs with us, welcome aboard.

I thought that was a nice personal touch and as we say in the MS world "Made me feel valued as a customer"

TNS are one of the better ones it has to be said - the fees aren't great but when you claim the max mileage it all adds up ;)

My regional controller's nice and friendly too.

Actually, one complaint is that the national/head office emails are generally really rubbishly laid out and the grammar has room for improvement!
