Hi, just thought I'd mention - if you did a coffee shop for GB early April (before they changed the paperwork) you might want to check they didn't just go and cancel your correctly completed assignment! They've done this to a few people i know, of course without telling them so that hopefully they would never notice and complain about it!

Just got back from an RE audit training session, and it all went quite well. Frankly a little boring, but it was nice to meet some new people.0

Just an update on GFK travel tickets. I emailed them asking if they could explain the payment I didn't understand.
For each job, I had to buy tickets for a return journey for 2 people. In each case, it was cheaper buying singles, so I ended up with 4 tickets per journey.
For some reason, they have only paid me for ticket number 1 in each job, even though I entered all 4 ticket details. They've worked out the rest of what I am owed and will send it in the next payment run.
If anyone else has done these jobs, check your payments and make sure you get the right reimbursements. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Hi all
I am an MS newbie, done 7 in the last week. Done some jobs for RM, GB and one for RE. Where I have had to submit reports on line for food outlets, it has taken me about two hours to do this. Why oh why would anyone pick these assignments if the reports take so long? Am I being slow? RM have been great as ring and take details.
I thought the whole point was to assess the stores accurately, so I am disappointed to hear people not getting assignments because the stores are rubbish. I worry that I may be over critical so could well be sacked within the week!
Any hints/tips would be be welcome!PPI Reclaimed -

I have put a few negative reports in for GR about a certain supermarket and they are fine with me. Can I ask why would the MSing co. get the grief from the client as it is not their fault if the staff aren't up to scratch.
I think what happened in my case was when the manager saw I had put Yes to were people smoking at the entrance and No to were there notices in every toilet displaying the Gambling aware warning these 2 things have legal implications. Probably the only thing the manager thought of was deny it as she said she had checked the CCTV and no one was smoking. Basically called me a liar. YET I gave a very positive report on everything else. After all why would I lie about these 3 points and score them highly on everything else.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Best tip I can give you Yeosal is make any criticisms constructive and emphasise good things to make your report appear balanced. For instance read your brieding notes well as they give clues what they are measuring. So if they say how long did you wait to be acknowledged say something like " I waited approx 4 minutes although the staff appeared busy as there were a lot of customers present." If you tick a No box always make comments to say why you are marking a No.
Hope that helps and good luck and persevere.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
when you do a pub food for RE can you buy more than 2 meals ie 4 and just claim for what they are allowing?0

Yes, good point Holly, why would you lie? I tend to do the same sort of places and so have never been asked about smoking. The particular supermarket I do tends to get a similar average to negative report each time in general but I want them to be better each time I shop there but they never do.0
