Hi, just wondering if anyone has ever used a discount coupon on a RE restaurant/cafe shop? Like a 10% off voucher, etc. Is this ok?

I can't see why a coupon would be a problem, especially when RE openly admit that for some assignments the reimbursement only goes partly towards the cost (eg american restaurants when they specify a 3 course meal must be ordered) therefore you should be able to pay however you like, obviously unless specifically instructed!!!!!

How strict are RE about timing etc. Got a call over the weekend as client querying alot on the report, one being timing before being served etc.
They've obviously checked the camera etc, I'm sticking to my guns on everything else, but my phone turned off so my timings might be out by at most 1min. They are saying I waited less than 30secs.

Just worried about not getting paid etc

I wouldn't worry too much, I think if you persist with RE you will get paid.
Was it a slightly poor report (in terms of level of service, not your quality ) hence the client trying to query everything to get you worried and change your answers. I wouldn't budge, personally ive never had any problems with timings (and by my own acknowledgement I am never precise as to the second).

I would call them and talk to them, they are usually nice enough its just they have to deal with a poor reporting system!!!!

I use a loyalty card for RE's Italian restaurant. That helps with the bill a bit and they don't seem to mind. (It's a 15% discount.)

yep, service wasn't 100% but it wasn't very bad. I'll wait and see, they said they'd ring.

I have emailed them four times over the last week or so and have yet to get a response.

Oops .... made a boo boo tonight with a MS. Supposed to order a particular size item and ordered the other size ! I've submitted report but it contradicts so I'll be getting a phonecall tomorrow ! Won't get paid for that one no doubt ....... that'll teach me to check and double check the paperwork won't it? !!!! :mad:

I know how you feel - I've been there and done it... it's the worst feeling when you know you've wasted so much time and money!
