Has anyone been paid by Grass Routes today?
The payments went out on 21 April. Should have been in account by today, but nothing in yet.
No, I noticed that too. Says payment made on 21 April but diddly-squit in my account as yet

Been interesting reading the comments as most of it ties in with my experiences although I love RE as their jobs can be really interesting - or maybe just in my area. Have been doing this now for about 16 months and no I've not got rich but I've had some nice meals, free petrol, nights in hotels and so if I'm not spending it surely I'm saving it! Overall no get rich quick scheme but beats sitting in front of the TV and you meet some really nice people. One tip is that wherever you go after you do start to look at the stores next door, how tidy is the car park, were the staff wearing badges but that's probably not a bad thing if you notice poor or good service. Will carry on doing it until the jobs dry up.0

Hello ppl,
i have just registered on the BAI website but i have heard many different stories about their payment delays etc on the forums.. have any of you encountered any problems...also cud u plz let me know generally about working with them...as in freq of work/type of work/payment etc.....
I did an optician job for BAI and never got paid, even though it showed as being graded a 8 and paid. I wasn't! I am with 6 companies and have never had that happen before. Also did another banking job for them which they managed to wriggle out of paying me for even though I did the job as required. The same type of job I do for OC regularly and know like the back of my hand so they are just full of poo in my opinion. And the pay is not that great. Euro exchange or not :rolleyes:DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

Hi ... yep newbie here, but experienced enough on other forums to know to read all the posts on the thread and avoid asking questions that are already answered.
On page 100 - and will complete - but I hope I may be allowed this one exception to that rule:
Having gone thru the bad times (yep - bad) I have a basic bank account, but no debit card, and nope, lol, I never want to see a credit card again - so on any MS trip all I could ever do at the moment is pay in cash - how much would that interfere with things?
So far I have gained the impression that paying in cash is more likely to be the norm, and that I could choose to avoid those that need a card of any kind. Am I on the right track? TIA!
PS: Great thread, and that takes great forum members (Insert Thumbs Up Smiley)0 -
Welcome to the forum!
Paying cash shouldn't be a problem for the majority jobs.
Some pub meal jobs require you to pay by card. You have to open a tab when you pay for your food and you need a card to hold the tab open. I've done some internet shopping jobs too which obviously you need a card for. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Take care on the spend limits on some jobs. I have had to pay out large amounts of money on jobs (things like travel tickets and prescription glasses). I don't feel comfortable carrying large amounts of cash to pay for purchases like that, although you might feel differently having no card at all.
Best of luck! Here I go again on my own....0
