Also, I've seen some posts about TNS wanting 18-21year olds, I'm 21 and with TNS but have not heard anything from them, is there a special link to what they want done? Or do I need to contact them?
The jobs haven't started yet but you need to be 18-20 to do them. Shops selling alcohol must check your ID if you look under 21, so I believe that's all the visits entail.
  • Wahoo! For once I'm actually too old for something! I do look 17 though, so would still be good for this job though, never mind!
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!
  • Can anyone tell me what happens when a shop you are due to report on has closed down? I was doing an assignment for Gap, and it was quite a long way away so required a day out - I only went because I knew the children would enjoy it - so with fuel and parking, I am out of pocket. I have emailed Gap, but wondered if I will get anything for this, does anybody know?
    Thanks
Smile ! And pass it on..

I did a playbarn once with RE and when I got there it was closed for refurbishment. I called them as soon as I got back and I put this on the report. I still got paid the fee but not the reimbursment.

I did one at the weekend that the shop hadn't opened yet! I emailed straight away, and send an enquiry via the website, and was told I'll get paid but not the reimbursement.

It wasn't the shop that kids love but you can't take them, it was a toy shop.

  • Hav just done first visit with RE ... have tried sifting thru site and on mse to see if I can find out but am coming up stumped ... in expenses do I include the money for the sandwich and the fee for the visit? Or is expenses simply the amount I spent in store?

I'm right in thinking that RE pay you back what you spend whereas Gap pay you the reimbursement whether you spend the whole figure or not aren't I?

    Cheers for help folks :T

PS ... am getting well confused ... the bit where you enter the comments states 10 characters and the box is red ... then it goes to zero and turns green. Does this mean you have to comment in less than 10 characters, or is it meaning you have to comment in more? I'd imagine more, but just want to double check!
    £10 a day in November = £593.31 / £300

Put in the amount you spent in store. If it's over they'll only reimburse you the maximum in your brief.

Correct. If GAP say £x you get £x, but RE only pay upto £x for the exact amount you spent.

Keep going till the box turns green, you can type past zero ;)
  • When you do a burger shop, I have just read that if you have to ask for a receipt, you have to wait until after you have received your food. How does this work, as this is the sort of job where you collect your food at a different location to where you have paid. Surely the staff would have a moan about this and then I would be obvious?
