but you are meant to check the toilets and overall store cleanliness.

You can still do it ... you simply do it before ordering the sandwich.

Hi folks,ok what do you do with it all after assignments.
I am only at it about three months and must have gone through nearly a ream already.
Bit of a waste isnt it.
On a lighter note whats the worst extra premium you have been offered to do an assignment.....i will start the ball rolling.
Was offered an extra £4 to do a job that involved an 85 mile round trip.:rotfl:
I am sure some of you can easily beat that.

Me again! I've been doing this for months, but I'm still a newbie!
What the Web addy for IMS? Can't see it anywhere?
Also I've been with RMax for ages, they sent me loads of txts over xmas for jobs but I didn't reply as I was busy, now I haven't heard in a bit am i fired?
Also what kind of places do they do? Restaurants? Banks? Petrol? etc??!

    THANKS!

    Hi,

I think you want this one for IMS:

    http://www.ukims.co.uk/

As for Retail Maxim, I did answer their texts over xmas but haven't heard anything for a couple of months so wouldn't worry about it. Here is a quote from their website with the type of jobs they do:

"Our Mystery Shopping clients include retailers of all types of merchandise… Fashion, Shoes, Bakers, Off Licences, Department Stores, Electrical, Opticians, Hair Salons and many others."

    Hope this helps,

    Lola :)

Going to be busy in the next three days fitting them in,but when does the honeymoon period end?

I think when you stop earning money. It all depends what companies you work for really and where you live. For some companies the honeymoon period doesn't end as you get better jobs or you get repeat jobs where it is easy money for what you are doing. Enjoy it is fun and there are some great meals to be had out there, but remember to fill out those reports correctly.
  • How would you describe field marketing?? I have NO idea!

Field Marketing is just a term companies use to describe all the things we do including mystery shopping, auditing, in-store demonstrations, merchandising etc. If it's in relation to IMS I know they prefer you to be available for more than just mystery shopping.

All signed up. I think I'll leave it with just Gap and RE until I get the hang of the assignments. My filing is going to be a mess to start with, so I'm taking the softly, softly approach to begin with

Thanks for all the advice on here.

  • Also, I've seen some posts about TNS wanting 18-21year olds, I'm 21 and with TNS but have not heard anything from them, is there a special link to what they want done? Or do I need to contact them?
