Anyone who hase done the RE sports shop that you have to ask for a specific item (as mentioned earlier) -

Was there a sale on? I don't want to spend over the reimbursement, and it's all pricey, or can I just get something for £1 & keep the rest?

    Thanx

I don't think you have to spend it all but you will only be refunded what you have spent. If you only spend £1 they will only give you £1 back

Today received an e-mail saying that I am no longer a KFC shopper and they have cancelled two Spar assignments I had for tomorrow. Additionally McDonalds assignments have disappeared from the client list.............

These ms agencies are keen on keeping up the pretence that no-one knows the identity of the places that use them to spy on the staff.

Maybe you revealing some of them on here is not the first thing you have done to enrage them

    Hi

I have been a regular shopper with Gapbuster for a couple of years now.

Today received an e-mail saying that I am no longer a chicken shop shopper and they have cancelled two supermarket assignments I had for tomorrow without explanation. Additionally the golden arches assignments have disappeared from the client list.

Would be grateful to hear from anyone who has experienced similar issues or who could provide an explanation.

Have contacted them but I know they are rubbish at replying. Thanks

    Hi Paul,

I wouldn't worry about it - it won't be for any particular reason at a guess, but GAP like to reward their loyal, long term shoppers by sacking them, in an attempt to keep the mystery about their shoppers.

I was recently sacked from one of their clients as I had shopped all of their local branches so many times they must have known who I was!

It's annoying I know but they're only trying to protect the point of mystery shopping!

I have edited the post now.

It is hardly a secret who they do work for, search Gapbuster on google and you don't even have to open the results to find out.

I was looking for help not smart comments why would MSE worry about what Gapbuster thinks?

In my notes it says you can't look and try on a shoe from the sale rack, but no mention that what you buy can't be on sale. I'm thinking of buying something for DS - do you think this would be allowed as it doesn't specify what you have to buy?

Why don't you buy something for money, do the report, submit the receipt and then return the item in a week, then you will get the whole money back plus fee.

It says in the notes that you should not return the item  Don't know if they would be able to find out?
