It may be me being a bloke but I don't see this nastiness!

Maybe I just have thicker skin - I tend to take comments that are meant offensively (elsewhere on MSE) with a pinch of salt as the people doing the moaning would never dare say it to me in person so why should I give a damn what they type on an internet forum?!

I have thick skin too but it does bother me to see other people upset by nasty comments people make. There really isnt any need for it and as the old saying goes, if you cant say something nice then just dont say anything at all.

If anyone wants to come to the office you will find yourself very welcome but I for one will not stand for nastiness and will be the first to tell you off

The Tearoom and Office were set up at the same time, with neither set of Admin knowing what the other was up to :rotfl: the Invision layout is so much easier to use than the Proboard format and inorder to make one busy forum, the Tearoom is rarely used now, there is a link on there directing people to the Office and the site is checked every day.

I do still post website down times and the occasional work available notices, but the Office is the site to use for prompt, friendly and helpful advice. :T and a lot of chit chat as well :beer:

i thanked you to blindman, i look forward to reading it. I was also thinking of mentioning the level of nastiness on the MSE forum, over the last few weeks on various threads aronud the board - there have been really rude posts and arguements going on and on. maybe its the time of year ?!?!? c u all over in the office
