Just wanted to mention that Assosia concentrate more on field marketing than mystery shopping. This usually involves wearing business dress and signing into the store as a visitor to carry out tasks relating to stock.

I just thought I'd mention that as I know most of the people reading this thread prefer mystery shopping work, and it'll probably be a waste of both yours and their time applying if you don't want to do field work.

Thanks for that info and that's the sort of jobs I dont mind doing. I've found the Associa website but cant find where to apply - can you help me?

    Thanks

It's not just forum rules, it's in the Ts & Cs of the mystery shopping companies.

Paul, I'd be careful, especially with Assosia who are VERY on the ball and against their work being discussed on open forums (fora?)....

Precisely, they have already sacked their workers for this kind of thing.
Doesn't stop others though, does it!

I thought one of the forum rules was not to mention how much we earn from jobs. Am I wrong?

I think the crucial thing is not to say how much an MS company pays per job.

Assosia have many other jobs too that involve being a mystery shopper - usually faulty product buy-backs.

Having read through some of this thread (couldn't face all 81 pages, sorry!) this mystery shopping thing sounds really interesting. I know you can't say how much money you get per job, but I would be interested in knowing roughly how much money you can make per month and whether the work is enjoyable? It would also be good to know the kinds of skills they are looking for (I see some people have been turned down.) so I don't waste their time by applying if I haven't got what they're looking for...

At the moment I am making £900 per month but many people would take a year to earn that amount.

When an MS shopper appeared on Martin's TV programme it was said she earned £500 per year plus £1500 in 'perks'.

Yeah that was chocolatebutton (she's been on this thread a number of times before)....

I have earned £250 in my best month (fees less direct costs) but this was very hard work and doing any job available - my early months! Probably in the region of 40-50 jobs at a guess. I work full time so this is my part time earnings.

I would say a reasonably keen mystery shopper could look to get around £75-£100 a month after costs so it's worth doing but requires effort!
