Don't cancel. If the ID doesn't arrive go without it, ask them to send a letter of authorisation (which should'nt take long).
The questionnaire have improved a lot in the last few days, now the average time is only 2.36 hours per questionnaire!:D

Oh pooh. Is RE still not working? I have 3 shops for them on Thursday! I am not going to submit my report 5 times like I had to for the last 1 I did. I phoned them and told them it was not acceptable and the woman on the phone was like YEAH WHATEVER, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING PROBLEMS! Cheeky beggar! ** Also anyone done an AUDIT for them? I am meant to be doing one this Thu or Fri, but the bloke from RE still hasn't sent me my photo card. He was meant to be sending it first class on Friday. I should have it by now. Shall I just cancel it or something? HELP MOI! Ta muchly.

On the download section on the RE site for the audits if its the ones im doing then there is a letter of authority to download and take in with you

Oh and incidentally, spoke to someone there this morning, and she's suggested that comments need to be made for every single question and not just for the boxes that turn red when you click in them and then turn green after so many characters, so its double your workload ladies and gentlemen!

I've always done that with RE reports and I've worked for them for years. I agree it does it repetative sometimes: eg
Were the toilets clean? YES - Yes the toilets were clean and tidy.
Was your first choice of meal available? - YES - Yes our first choice meals were available.

From their side it shows you've selected the right answer in the first place. If I'd accidently answered "no" to the toilet question and then put no explanation in, they would have to query it, but with a back up answer they can tell I must have ticked the wrong box. That's just my theory though - not from RE!
Here I go again on my own....

It says that about the letter or authority, but it says you need the PHOTO ID. Anyway, my voice has gone as I now have flu, shall I just cancel it or ask for it to be extended? Err!

My day did not start well today. I had to check a station cafe, when I arrived there it did not exist, well, it did originally, but now it must be closed because I saw construction going on there! I've left a message for GFK on the answerphone as well as writing an e-mail.
Would I be paid for this visit, I wonder?

I think they probably will - they'll most probably still bill the client for it so the money's going to be there, if you want it!

Do you work for RE at the moment? Seems like there is often lots of work in Clacton available on their site as I think its a little out of the way for many people.

You should still be paid the fee, although you won't get the reimbursement for purchases.

A little tip in these circumstances is to take a photo on your phone of the closed store/site as proof of your visit in case it's queried.
