  • Exactly! I've got a friend who works in a "well known DIY store" and they know who the MS are because they ask for things that a normal shopper wouldn't!

But what really grates me the most, is the fact that apparently, I get points deducted for submitting a report for spelling mistakes and yet their questionnaires are littered with them!

OK rant over - back to the thesis :-(

One rule about RE is DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE POINTS!!

I've been told a number of times that they don't monitor them and they're not in use at the minute - they may never will either!
  • Oic

Thanks for that little snippet of info Timmne. :D

Don't know why I'm *that* bothered about my rating really tbh, because after my experiences with them over the last week or so, I think I want to avoid them like the plague from now on.

Think its the "we except you to be 100% professional at all times" attitude, when they obviously don't show much professionalism themselves, which is grinding me at the mo.
  • Or "expect" even lol

Not very professional at spelling am I? ;)

I'm new to MS.I don't want to pinch work off anyone, but which are the better companies to work for in respect of volume of work, job fees and the variety and better asignments. I'm registered with a few and have done a few jobs in banks, pubs, phone shops and some stores. How many companies are out there? I want to get a few more jobs, not to make a living, but just to make it worthwhile.

Is their 'new system' even working now? I had a few assignments on the weekend and it took me well over an hour to put in just 1 because every answer I selected took about 5 minutes to register and froze my screen until it did! So annoying!! By the end, when it told me I had 5 spelling mistakes I had no choice but to submit because it would have taken me another 30 minutes to correct them!! Sheesh!!
  • Had same problem over the weekend as well Suzanne. Took me 5 hours to submit two reports and then with another two, I had to answer a couple of the questions as "no" instead of "yes", because everytime I selected "yes" it crashed my web browser!

As for the spelling mistakes, when you correct them, they still show as spelling mistakes, plus if you write don't, can't, won't etc apparently the apostrophe is a spelling mistake too!

So yes, I still submitted the report despite the "spelling mistakes" but now what I'm finding is that the information from most of the reports I submitted last week, got lost along the electronic ether and I've got to them again!

I've got no idea how their website is now though. I hope they've solved it because I'm certainly not spending 5 hours on a report again if they haven't fixed it!

So pleased I didn't pick up any RE jobs over the last couple of weeks - sounds like a nightmare!

Yes they have been - so much so I gave up with RE.
The last straw was them setting up a phone shop enquiring about a holiday, then changing their mind about the phone number I had to use to complete the assignment.
Did it all right, to the `T', then they changed their mind . . . a lot of effort for not a lot, with their assignments, specially when the website is misbehaving.
Anyhoo, after informing RE I wouldn't be doing any more assignments - I called them by phone and emailed the regional organiser - as I was going into hospital for a major op, they actually called my moby when I'd only come out the operating theatre in a morphine-induced haze! :rotfl:
    I couldn't believe it
I'd forgotten to turn the phone off but even so !
