On a slightly different subject...when doing accounts for tax what do you put down for expenses? I know to include milage and printing costs, but what about, as an example, if you are required to buy petrol or groceries, and you buy things that you would be buying anyway. As they are being reimbursed it would seem odd not to include them, but on some of these jobs it would be impossible not to make a paper loss.

Oh yes, mine took 10 days! Only just out of it myself. I saw the pub jobs appear and disappear today as I was contemplating whether I could fit one in! You sure have to be quick off the mark for some of these jobs.

Err, no! :D Why would someone give their jobs away to others?

Hah, I mentioned to someone I know locally that I can't do as much voluntary work now because of MS work and they wanted me to tell them all the best companies etc. as they wanted to try it. Ummm, I don't think so luv, you'll be nicking my jobs! :rotfl:

Hi just a quick question - I'm still waiting for payment from GAP for end of Jan begining of Feb jobs that've been approved and accepted.
They don't seem to answer any of my emails either - anyone else having payment problems with this?

Gap pay on the 25th of the month following the date of the job, so for a job completed on 1st February, you get paid on the 25th March...

Is there any way to check if your reports have been approved on GAP? They had a query about an incident that happened on one of my shops, so I answered it, but never heard anything back from them!
  • Hi

Anybody else sick to the back teeth of ~RE at the moment?

I struggled to submit reports all of last week because they decided to implement a website structure without testing it properly first, and every report I submitted last week is being sent back to me because a "large number of questions haven't been answered". I definitely answered them otherwise I wouldn't have been able to submit the report to them in the first place, because there website wouldn't have allowed me!

Their website was so slow at the weekend it took for 5 hours to submit one report! I did 6 jobs for them last week, and it looks as though I'm going to have to re-write all the reports, when its them who's lost all the information in the first place! It just isn't worth the pittance that they pay and I'm worried its going to affect my shopper rating with them, even though it's not my fault (reading a post earlier where a gentleman had his shopper rating affected down to their error and now they won't re-adjust it, dosen't exactly inspire me with confidence)

Oh and incidentally, spoke to someone there this morning, and she's suggested that comments need to be made for every single question and not just for the boxes that turn red when you click in them and then turn green after so many characters, so its double your workload ladies and gentlemen!

It's a shame really, because my boyfriend and I have had some good nights out, which we wouldn't be able to afford normally, but its got to the point now where it just isn't worth the stress!

It's like them all WC - dropping the fees and increasing the requirements, all entangled with asking you to do things that a normal shopper wouldn't normally do!
