Does anyone fancy the idea of opening a new thread solely for alerts?

As long as company names aren't mentioned (i.e. made similarly to redcar's above) I can't see a problem in terms of sharing the basic information....

There are times I notice things pop up and nobody mentions it on here so I don't!

    Opinions please?
  • Good idea Timmne. I'm with you on that one.

Not a bad idea, but if I am online I'm usually checking the MS sites anyway

Gap should have some soon surly, they have had the same jobs for ages.
Think its a good idea for people that aren't as sad as me and constantly checking the MS sites.:rotfl: Thiink i'll stop doing that now i am subscribed to the alert thread.

Hey everyone, I think its been said but iv trawled through quite a few pages tryin to find the answer! but tonight I have a pizza online order to do, can we do a meal deal?! on the instructions it doesnt seem to say you cant just that you cant use coupons, it would seem silly to order the items individually and pay more? surely the shops realise these get carried out and so will look for this sort of thing? thanks for any help in advance guys!

I think the rule is you can't use a meal deal if it changes the order - i.e. if getting the things you need (and only them) is cheaper then it will be OK (always has been for me) - if you get a BOGOF deal or upgraded to a large pizza etc then it'll affect the times and the shop's not done to the brief....

    HTH :D

Edit: The official line is that you're not supposed to use meal deals at all (someone a few pages back emailed GAP and they confirmed this) - but common sense has to step in when exactly the same thing's available for less money...

You have to develop a very thick skin and be persistant, especially if you get to deal with managers who talk down at you.

just wanted to comment on taking a large handbag. If you need to go in the stock room or warehouse, this might cause problems as some stores don't allow bags in for security reasons.
Thanks Becles, I don't tend to take a bag with me, but I have to work on the thick skin bit although it might take years!!

thanks for the quick response! well the deal is the same as the requirement only you get an extra starter, so I was going to get two x the same starter as surely this wouldnt change the time? its only without doing the deal its over the reimbursement value whereas with the deal it matches it! maybe it would just be safer to just order the pizza and one starter?
