They'll email it to you in a link with a password and log in details - sometimes quite close to your assignment date so it can get hairy!0

might be an idea for the alerts thread to lay down some rules on the first post as tractor girl mentioned, something along the line of..
ONLY MENTION JOB TYPE - supermarket, pub, chicken, burger, phone, betting, etc
MS COMPANY - maybe a list of abbriviations used RE,GAP,GFK,GR,RM,TNS
just looked at the first post, you did say this already, maybe put it in bold & also say NO CLUES.0 -

Thanks

EDIT: Now Timme beats me to it, I'm really off my game lately0 -
Looks as though TNS are ceasing to do tax and NI for their shoppers', appears to be now your responsibility, as per the other companies.
No surprise really, seems to be a lot of cost cutting going on down there and re-structuring.0 -
RE - s/w up not the foot long ones0

I'm registered with them but have never got anything from them. There are never jobs in my area nor, it seems, in the whole of England!!
Has ANYONE ever got anything from them?
I think I may have done, they email with jobs although it's very sporadic.
I think they're linked to Mystery Outsource, who tend to email both companies' offers together and therefore I can't tell whether I have worked for them!0 -
I've had offers but they for the finance and I couldn't do that particular one.
Got beaten again with GR the other day, must have been a fluke when I got one, the usual MS must have had a day off!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 102

I learned that lesson the hard way too!
Have you got some sort of trolley you can use?
Can you park directly outside the store just while you are unloading? You can dump the boxes and then move your car before going back to do the job.
Many MS companies do merchandising as well. I tend to prefer it to the MS work.
Thanks for the advise on this (thx too to careful with that axe).
I've got quite a few jobs to do, so have started with the smaller stores, so I know how much to carry in. Unfortunately there is nowhere to dump boxes with the car in 4 of the stores. But trying to look on the positive side that it all counts towards my weekly exercise:D

Just thought I'd update people on Retail Maxim's method of payment from an email I received today:
A payment has been made directly into your nominated bank account to refund the
PURCHASES you made on recent Mystery Shopping visit(s).
AMOUNT PAID : £29.00
Payment of fees and expenses for carrying out the visit will be processed
through our monthly pay-roll system towards the end of the month.
So looks like they process the two, separately.0 -
Quick question about Retail Maxim - when I registered with them, I can't remember if I gave them my bank details on the application form. I've done one shop for them but not sure when I'll be paid - can anyone jog my memory as to whether bank info was given on the application form?
