Indeed! The fact that such a company doesn't even provide a phone number to its workers, and sacks them if they try and call is beyond a joke. Why on earth anyone works for them, with their appalling attitude and their pitiful pay for their expectations, is beyond me.
Too right; they have refused to pay on some occasions, and penalised me when THEY changed it to a date I could not do. They're the worst MS company ever.0 -
Good news all....
GAP's money will be in my account tomorrow morning so they've managed to delay for a couple of days but at least we should have it!0 -

Hi, I am set to go on my first assignment tomorrow for one of the MS companies, whom I could not phone if I wanted to... I have to go to a restaurant and order the buffet meal, starter and up to 2 drinks - I am allowed up to 4 people in the party although they must order and pay separately - my young boy and mum will be coming, has anyone any ideas how I get around this as surely it would look really strange if I asked them to bring my order first!
Thanks for any help,
Annie0 -

Yes that's right, something like Windows XP or Photoshop will be a type of software
Oooh and you need to be careful not to mention any company names in your post, it will quite often be in your contract to keep those details confidential0 -
Which includes being cryptic - the cryptic name you gave is far too obvious and is still giving it away!0

Ha ha - no I just had visions of JobbingMusician getting out a family sized tupperware container and scraping the contents of the plate into the box, merrily banging the fork on the plate as she did it!
Pretty accurate, except it actually goes like this.....
*JM sits in corner, removes small tupperware box from large handbag, spirits steak into box and has it away with the contents*
or
*JM answers imaginary call on phone. 'WHERE are you? OH NO! Oh, you poor thing! OK, I'll see what I can do'. JM approaches bar staff. 'My poor husband's car has broken down. I don't suppose you could possibly put his food into a takeaway box, and I'll take it home to him?'* :rotfl:
Don't take any of the above too seriously...Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

How old is your son? We took one of our children and they shared our meal and I filled their juice cup with the drink I ordered. I would just get your mum to order seperately, I've done this before I was a MS when my mum wanted to pay for her meal and get her own bill.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 102

HA! So funny!
So do you go on restaurant shops on your own then knowing you'll have to order twice? Takes guts!0 -
