    What is no longer needed?
Have you now seen the puppy

have you got your money back

have you given it up as a lost cause

    why delete your OP

The OP has almost certainly deleted it due to embarrassment at realising they have probably foolishly supported the puppy farming trade. Seriously who buys a puppy on impulse from a dodgy advert?

Interestingly my son and his partner have been trying to foster a dog as they will both be working at home for the foreseeable future and have the time, and want to foster until they can spend time with rescue centres to find a dog of their own. No foster charity will even add them to their books as they say they can’t do a home visit or any assessment on them, and no dogs are just handed over without full investigation into their foster home. It is odd to think a pedigree dog can be bought basically mail order by anyone, but an unwanted stray is so cared for that any potential keeper is checked.

Reputable breeders do check potential buyers too. As someone else said, it would be a red flag if they were willing to sell so quickly/easily. Depending on breed, waiting lists for reputable breeders can be years long.

Those who take the very best care of their animals are going to want to know the animal is going to a good home. It most definitely does not bode well if they freely accept any offer presented to them.
