    I do hope that care parking are not paying a "fishing licence"  , because we have to remember "councils reminding them they are banned from "using parking to generate profit";

    Why do you think you messed up the appeal?  The point is did you say who was DRIVING?

    'Motorist: my name.
    Appeal Reason: I parked on the Aldi car park and shopped at Aldi for no longer than 45 minutes total before leaving. I have attached the shopping receipt as evidence. I ask that you please cancel my ticket in light of this evidence.'

    Unfortunately, I think it's fair to say I have incriminated myself.

    Your strongest point is the planning permission issue, so I wouldn't worry about having been tricked into revealing the driver's identity.

    What did the BPA and DVLA say when you complained about the data/GDPR and Kadoe breaches?

    Oh dear.  You could have won at POPLA so easily, as registered keeper, given it is Council land.

    Thanks everyone, really appreciate the support. Yes, it's a leaving site case and they have no evidence I left site. I have the planning permission argument too. I'll spend some time now refining the POPLA appeal and understanding the process better.

    I've exhausted every avenue with Aldi and repeatedly got the same response (we can only help with Parking Eye) and now they have stopped replying all together. I also contacted the Management company for the retail development, GVA Management, no response from them at all.

    I can't get Care Parking on a data breach unfortunately as I volunteered my data so they haven't accessed it through DVLA (windscreen ticket).

    Currently waiting for FOI request to be processed and get my hands on the current contract between the Council Landowner and Care Parking. I will wait to submit my POPLA appeal until I get this as it could be quite enlightening! - providing they get back to me before the deadline.

    I'll update with my progress. Thanks again.

    I haven't gone back through all 8 pages, but if you haven't done it yet, send a SAR to Care Parking while you're waiting.
    That would flush out anything they'd have as 'strict proof' you left site (I think they've got more chance knitting fog than providing that proof)
