So my daughter's bedroom and the bathroom are being painted today. Carpets go in on the 27th (work friend had tried to move it forward but they're booked up.) So my new neighbour will be able to start moving some things out by the latter half of next week but will be moving most of her stuff on the 28th/1st. I'm still non-committal to an exact move date as I'm relying on other people's plans.
I've still not been in to measure as new neighbour has been away this week but I'm hoping I'll be able to get in there either Tuesday or Wednesday next week to take measurements and then I can start asking people about the measurements of the furniture they're offering me.
Bottom line;
£49k paid off
Car HP paid off
Debt Free!
Saved Escape fund and moved out.
Current focus; saving Emergency fund7 -
Easier said than done I know, but try not to get too stressed. Thinking of you!

I have been reading your thread for the last week or two now. Similar situation, life with a narcissistic, controlling man-child but with 3 step-children and 5 grandchildren that I adore and a whole load of debt to clear in order to move on. You are inspirational to those of us that are feeling 'stuck forever'! Cannot wait to read about your new life. Hang in there, it's all in touching distance! x8

Been to see the cottage yesterday to take all the measurements I need. The small bedroom will /just/ fit a single bed in which is good news.
