Euro Car Parks Final notice

Have received a final notice in response to an appeal after receiving a ' Notice to Keeper' parking charge letter.
I was in a disabled bay and negotiating parking and getting out of the car, set the blue badge, but my disabled friend, could not get back in time. In effect, it was only 4 minutes late. No official reply, just the final Notification Letter.
I have given my name as the driver on the appeal, to explain I was caring for the passenger with the blue badge.
I am a day passed the 28 days to pay the full amount.
What next please? Have read the newbies post, but it's too much to take in.
Thanks for any help.

Tell them that you are not paying and that if they take this ti court you will counter-claim for disability discrimination

In that case just pay, we are far too busy to deal with people who are not ptepared to help themselves.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -

What happened when you complained to the retailer about discrimination and harassment by the PPC?
Complain to the BPA about them:

I rang the retailer and they said it was nothing to do with them.
My concern is that there is no discretion for a disabled passenger not being able to get back to the car in time. It only amounts to 16 minutes.
Euro Car Parks say there are no concessions for blue badge holders. This obviously isnt right.
I will certainly check out BPA
Thank you for the advice.0 -

Will construct letter to POPLAHave read the newbies post, but it's too much to take in.I'm afraid if the best advice anywhere to help you win this is 'too much to take in', what are you expecting from the forum? Your options are narrowing if you can't/won't get down to researching this thoroughly. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I didn't say I wasn't going to take the advice on the forum!! My particular issues aren't covered as far as I can see.
It IS a lot to take in, but I'm getting there.2 -
You need to complain to the Head office of the retailer and the Store Manager (not the person who picks the phone up) about a breach of the Equality Act, waaaaaaay before you think about POPLA.
If you have a POPLA code it lasts for just past 30 days.
POPLA are fairly useless and do not consider the Equality Act (astonishing).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do what Ralph-y & Coupon-mad advise.
Folk tend to shy away from contacting CEOs but honestly, that is the way to go with landowner complaints. Don't suffer from 'little ol' me' syndrome - you've been scammed in a particularly nasty way and have every right to complain to the Store Manager and to escalate your complaint / strong request for cancellation to the CEO if you don't get instant cooperation.
Tell us where this happened and then if you have difficulty finding an email address for the CEO we may be able to help with the search.4
