@Narola1976 I’ve started looking back at surveys from last week (had sort of fallen out of the habit) and had a few PA already which is good as they soon add up.My list today:
check banking - tomorrow is payday so get all accounts straight before then. Should be all ok but I do like to double check.Reconcile just for points card
see if something is back in stock online to order.Message mum about something she wanted me to order for her
some knitting for relaxation
get something out of freezer for tea
think about what to do with the beetroot and bns I roasted yesterday whilst triaging the fridge
water plants and seedlings
have a good day all. Purps.4 -
Morning
Can't believe another week is flying by so quickly. I've been really busy with work stuff this week and then yesterday I just didn't get going with anything much apart from lying about in the garden as it was so hot.
Today's plans:
Ring Mr S and cancel my click and collect due to their ridiculous substitutions again.
Go and do the shopping in person (ugh - I hate leaving the kids while I go and do that because I want them in the shop with me to choose subs for stuff I can't get for them)
At least 3 hours of school based work
Hoover through
Make sure both kids get some work done
Crochet
Read some of my book which I'm really enjoying and is stopping me getting work done
Try not to get stressed/upset as I've had a wobbly couple of days.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Good morning folks!
Look who's slinking back in the door. I'm sorry to have been awol but between being made redundant and the coronavirus I've kinda just holed up and relaxed at home and I've done lots of crafts. It's been really quite nice in lots of ways although I'm starting to miss a couple of shops and coffee places now. I've really missed eveyone - I have seen a few of you on FB but it's good to be back here too. Have the thanks buttons gone? Or is it my browser?
In good news though, I have accepted a new job! I start on the 1st June and I'm kinda terrified as it's a step up from what I was doing. On the plus side, it's a very small company, run by 2 chaps that I used to work with so we all know each other well and I know that they'll be supportive.
I think that it must have been weighing on my slightly heavier than I realised as after I made the decision yesterday, I had a better sleep (went to sleep at a normal time and woke early) and I feel clearer and brighter than i have done previously.
So today's mse list!:B/L/D from stores (of course!)
Email job that I haven't heard from yet to tell them that I'm fed up with waiting for them I've taken a different role - done
Email my financial adviser (oooo check me!) with ID details so he can sort my pension stuff - done
Investigate help to save account as OH may currently be eligible - done. Yes he is!
Pay OH's NI bill for 2019-2020 - done
Reconcile budget sheet - done
Catch up on the thread for this week - done
Write meal plan for next week
Poss go to the allotment if not too hot - later
Make some brownies for the "clap-chat" tonight. The neighbours both sides are nice and we do the clap and then have a short chat afterwards. This brownie recipe is particularly good as it doesn't need actual chocolate, just cocoa powder.
Set about making some masks
Have a good one folks

Morning guys
planning to have a fairly easy day today, was on the go a lot yesterday and was waking up in the night last night and woke up at 6.30. Not too much concern at the moment but need to keep an eye on that....
Today:
* home schooling - we have fallen behind so trying to play catch up!
* hm (ikea) meatballs for tea
* continue putting sewing pattern together. Maybe work out what size I am and start marking out on pieces. Being so titchy it's inevitable there will be some grading and making pattern pieces smaller. This and cutting the fabric always takes me the longest! Once I get to actually sew things come together quite quickly
* meeting bff for a walk later - I have reservations about this and so far have only met up with one person who the following day told me she had been in contact with someone the day before who is being tested!
* madam to have a use up lunch. I'll have some of the batch of curried chickpeas and rice I made a few days ago
* read book later
* TOMM
* charge phone ready for work tomorrow

Thanks button seems to be socially distancing from us 🤣6

I thought I'd done something to make the thanks button disappear. Thanks, everyone for letting me know it is happening to others.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning all,
Nice to see you back CLF.
Its a much cooler start to the day here. We spent quite a bit of time reorganising rooms to help with the home schooling as ds2 is finding it hard going. Its made the front room look a mess as we've brought a big garden table in as an extra desk but I just keep reminding myself that its just what it is for now and when things return to some kind of normal we'll get things straightened up again. So following on from that I need to find go and get out the big old curtains that I usually use when decorating so that I can wrap that around the desk I've pulled out of the front room (its a very narrow desk but lovely polished wood so need to protect it whilst storing in the garage for now.)
Other then that
* check banking
* all meals from stores - check nothing is going off in the fridge/fruitbowl
* update freezer list
* free exercise with joe wicks on youtube, a walk with ds and another this evening with dh
Thats it for now. Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Morning. Been feeling crummy with mystery back pain which they think is GERD related. So not anything very dangerous just really unpleasant. Not in the mood for any moneysaving! But still:
-checked banks and updated spreadsheet
-checked money left for month (!! none!) which nicely put me off any comfort buying
-will make dinner from stores
-just trying to feel better
-if it's not one thing it's another with me. Boo.

I’ve also done 2 modules of the finance course
on 0pen Un1vers1ty that is advertised at the top of the page so a third of the way through. Glad that so far it’s all made sense I’m able to answer the questions! Would definitely recommend - it’s free! As a guide it said 2 hours per module. I did 2 in about 1.5 hours but was reading the text of the videos rather than watching them.6
