Mercedes diesel group action PGMBM
I have read that there is legal action being planned against Mercedes for their Diesel cars for illegal emission defeat devices. It is suggested that owners should join the claim with a potential compensation payout of up to £10000.
One of the big firms is PGMBM
is this legitimate and should I join the claim with one of these groups?

Do/did you have one of the recalled cars?
What are your actual losses?1 -
Unless you can prove a financial loss caused by the adblue being switched off when it is cold*, you will be entitled to nothing. In fact, they have saved you money by eking out the adblue a bit more in cold weather*So more people died of respiratory disease because of your car than otherwise- you can't prove it, and it didn't cost you a penny, unless they were your relatives. I live near to one of the largest toxic chemical disposal sites in Western Europe, and the localised spike in respiratory diseases is merely a statistical spike, and nothing to do with the plant. Apparently there is no Scientific evidence whatsoever that the plant is involved.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Because I'm not an entitled money-grubbing git.
Because I don't like ambulance-chasing sleaze-bag lawyers.
Because I'd read the small print and know there's a reasonable chance it ends up costing me.8 -
I share Adrian C’s opinion. I would perhaps have expressed it more forcefully. Why anybody would consider signing up with these bottom feeding legal ‘compensation’ experts is beyond me. Every time I get into my Mercedes I think - what a great car. My advice to the would-be money grabbers is reserve your outrage for the true moral dilemmas of our world, not the phony indignation of sleazy lawyers.1
