Errrm...no, because there is a formal process.  I told you what it is.

This is not easy, you mucked up your defence so you have to put it right.

Wrong.  You spoke to a clerk who doesn't know.

Hi , just managed to download form N244 as kindly suggested by CM and will pay the £100 fee.
    Just need help with Q3.
"what order are you asking the court to make and why ? "
    And also....
    Q10.
"What information will you be relying on, in support of your application?
X - the attached witness statement
X - the statement of case
X - the evidence set out in the box below"

Do a witness statement* that says why you only put the words you did...i.e. because you know nothing about this alleged contractual breach and the Claimant has provided you only with (what?...spell out how little you know) but you now realise that what was intended as a request for further and better particulars has in fact bound you to that as your defence.  Say that you are a litigant in person who knew nothing about the court process and feels ambushed, but that you have much more that you intend to address.  There is good reason to allow the defence to be amended, not least due to the clear abuse of process of the parking firm adding £60 to a parking charge, which is double recovery, and due to the parking firm's hundreds of small print wording on their standard small signs having been described by a Judge at Lewes only last month as 'wholly unacceptable' and inadquate to bind anyone to a parking contract.

    * with the statement of truth as shown in the NEWBIES thread, above your signature & date.  A proper Witness Statement as per all the examples here.
