Galloglass said:That is an interesting set of data so thanks for sharing. I notice it is from America so jobs may be different/done differently but some of the proximity ratings don't make sense to me. For example dental nurses are shown as being in closer physical proximity to others than dentists (on by a small amount I concede) however every time I visit the dentist the dentist is in direct physical contact with me, for the dental nurse the closest they get is passing a health questionnaire to me. These are checkups I concede but in a dental procedure the dentist would still be in direct contact even when the nurse is assisting. Also standing out is Primary and Nursery teaching professionals working at arms length, sure this is the norm further up the school (but not exclusively so) in early years the children will run up to hug staff, sit on staff given half a chance and certainly sit right next to (touching) them during story time etc.The pattern of risk seems logical though. I notice being an artist is suggested as the safest occupation, sadly the hourly pay is not great (probably significantly worse in these times).

The dental nurse does most of the decontamination work after the procedures , this too has its risks for hours afterwards.1
