Fox137 said:I have 2 meters and I'm on the comfort plus tariff, with electric storage heaters. Having gas central heating installed at the beginning of October so contacted Scottish Power about removing the 2 meters and replacing with one single rate meter but they are unable to do that due to government guidelines. Is there any way round this or will i just need to submit regular meter readings to show that the heating meter isn't being used? I want to change supplier as soon as possible so having to wait till they can sort it is not ideal

Octopus seem to be able to take on those meters. I'd recommend contacting Lucas at octopus. I've written more information about my switch on my blog - I had the exact same meter.

Hello! I have just moved into a new flat and have a heating set-up that resembles some of yours who have posted here.
It appears to be a Horstman radio teleswitch meter that is only getting readings from the storage heater, and a standard single rate meter powering everything else. So, I think I need a low night rate for the latter as the storage heaters are only used at night, and a single rate for the other meter.
I'm currently with EDF who are charging me standard rates for both meters and it's so costly.. Has anyone had luck finding a supplier with this kind of set up?0
