Last time I tried to get a refund in Tesco without a receipt (legitimate purchase just had done at self serve and forgotten to pick up receipt) they told me would only exchange for items within the same department, even though we asked if they would knock the £6 off our £100+ shop we were about to do. Think this is recent change in policy as too many people abusing the old one.........

Aspal and Harmony - dont give up, you will get one although it seems most are only selling in bundles now apart from Amazon when they have them in stock.

thanks daisy it just means spending loads of time on the pc and when i am not on the pc i am like i wonder if there is any wii in stock lol all i think about is wiis its mad x

Aspal and Harmony, I am sure you will find one soon... I took the whole of last week to find one and managed to find one with Argos... still not sure if it will turn up on Wednesday... but if you try Game, Argos, Amazon, Wikinson, HMV religiously and check this forum, I am sure you will find one.

It looks like Argos tried to deliver my second one today while I was at work. Its for a friend although I havent told her yet till I get it in my hands Im going to keep all of the games except one that we wouldnt play and put it on Amazon. Only 1 more to find now for another friend and am still on the waiting list at HMV so fingers crossed.

yeah don't give up. I trailed round Glasgow city centre, HMV on Argyll street seem to have quite a number (though they're doing the £275 package, Wii + 3 games @ £39.95 + 1 gig card). Maybe actually going to the shop rather than faffing on line would be worth a shot.

I did nothing all morning but sit at the computer and ring round various stores, spent afternoon checking local(ish) Argos, Game etc in person. I should now be listening to my 5 year old read his school book and cooking tea, instead I'm sitting here keeping an eye out on Amazon, and ringing back stores that said they might get delivery today. I MUST BE MAD!!!!!!!! I have been trying for a couple of weeks, was banking on the theory of releasing stocks 1st week December, but still no luck. Haven't even started on my other Xmas shopping yet.......
