My Argos order from Friday (ordered at 6.30am) was meant to be here today, but didn't arrive before 1pm as promised. Phoned them and there was a problem with my order and it didn't go out for delivery today. They have rescheduled it for Wednesday, I will believe it when I see it.

Glad to hear so many others got theirs though.

I have just changed my order delivery from Friday to Wednesday this week.. I am concern that I will not be getting my orders... called cs many times and they seem to know where my order is...

Keeping my fingers cross. I will believe it when i see it.

Are the German Wii Plays PAL?

I think the German Wii does play PAL.... I think it is stated... does anyone else be able to confirm?

Ok, for those of us too stupid to understand (me!), could someone please post once and for all which European Wiis are PAL and all good for use in the UK?
What's the difference between a German Wii, a French Wii and an UK Wii?

All Europeal Wii's *should* be PAL, Everyone in the EU (except France) use PAL, the French Use SECAM.

However as SECAM is not that widely found most french TV's accept PAL (Technically they are similar anyway), ans secam is such a minority product no-one really makes things for it, (DVD's and Games consoles are not made in SECAM)

There are PAL variants (B., G and I) but they refer to broadcast standards, and NOT direct connections (ie the Wii).

The main differences in any country's Wii's is likely to be the plug and the supporting documentation.

I ordered from Argos friday morning 7.30. Never got any emails, and it has been delivered this afternoon.
Not even sure if I want to keep it now, might try swap for ps3.

At the moment it seems for a bundle you are getting a good deal if you can get it for around £280.......that is outrageous of course but the shops are definately taking advantage of the shortage of wiis and the fact that everyone is now getting desperate. I havent seen a wii console that isnt in a bundle anywhere today I think they are pretty much going to be non-existant until after crimbo. I purchased one on behalf of my sis today at play.com at a cost of £279.99 for console and 4 games, I held out until lunchtime and then got scared that the offers would either go up in price or I wouldnt get one at all so eventually sucummed and paid it...........cant believe I have spent that much but got to the point where I wasnt sure how much longer I could hold out.
