Had them in Argos in Rotherham about an hour ago! HTH.
  • There's a trailer right this minute delivering into Argos' RDC in Scotland with a Nintendo load, so expect to see a glut of Wii's throught the area Sunday / Monday.

Also as it will be too late for delivery and be pickup make sure you pay "cash on collection", then if the console does not exist you have not paid upfront with paypal !! Be very wary of anybody who is offering a collect service but still insists on using paypal !!

I thought I read somewhere Ebay were insisting you use Paypal for Wii's.

I know it's not much use if you want to collect and the selelr should be amenamable to Cash on Collection but the ebay rules are the rules...

Its mandatory to have Paypal but nothing stopping you adding Cash on Collection for local pick-up in the listing, just put £50 P&P
  • Hi, reserved two wii's for a friend at the Argos Airdrie branch if anyone wants them? They will be reserved up till close of business on Saturday. One is the Smarty Pants bundle and the other is the Ailen one.

Send me a PM and I'll send you back the reservation number.
  • Argos Warminster have about 20 bundles in stock, 568/8252 console & Alien Syndrome and 568/8269 console and Smarty Pants, but they are on 'sob' so cannot be reserved online. You'd have to call them (0845 1657 925) or pop into the shop. We've had them in for the best part of the day and I'm surprised they haven't gone yet! I'm sure they won't be round for long tomorrow though.

Some bargain ones much cheaper than RRP been selling on ebay, so much for this years toy which will be sold out everywhere, every shop I walked past in the Metro Centre that sells them yesterday had a 'Wii's in stock now' poster. Still nowhere had DS lites in. Seems they have become the hard to get toy this year, half the amount of DSs on Ebay compared to Wiis and most of the DSs offered have mad £20+ postage etc or are abroad. Thankfully managed to get my sons and nephew them as it's what they have mainly asked for, I talked them out of a Wii thinking I wouldn't be able to get them now I have both :rotfl: ooops spoilt again.

Hope everyone who wanted one managed to get a Wii and noone ended up having to pay double money, if you're waiting for ToysRUs to call and say they have game bundles in you were waiting for call them, most stores have them in and haven't been calling people, they didn't ring me, grrr.

    Happy Christmas Everyone.
One day I might be more organised...........
