Just spoke to the troops at Amazon and they swear that a delivery truck did not turn up yesterday although they expect to ship deliveries out today/tomorrow so still a slight poss of delivery on the 24th (though my account reading that delivery will be post-xmas). Ah well - best pick one up from Argos as well just in case.

Just watching all the Wii's going through on ebay at the moment and they are all going to over £200 !!

I really have no sympathy for these lazy people, there have been enough at retail this week to supply most who wanted them.

Tomorrow should see a bit of a price dump on ebay - too late for special delivery then and only pickups worthwhile...

It might be worth checking the ebay listings in your area.

Look for new items with buy it nows, less chance of alot of page views on new items & with buy it now a quick way to finish the auction and have piece of mind knowing you now have one.

Of course, use your usually common sense when buying from ebay, check their feedback, & check their time with ebay.

Although websites might get stock in between now and next tuesday, they are pushing it for delivery times, so ebay pick up's would be a good option right now.

Also as it will be too late for delivery and be pickup make sure you pay "cash on collection", then if the console does not exist you have not paid upfront with paypal !! Be very wary of anybody who is offering a collect service but still insists on using paypal !!
