Joanne, you pay a percentage of the selling price to ebay..it starts off at 5.25% I think & varies with the sale price.
So 5.25% of 1p is virtually nothing..but of £260, quite a bit more. Ebay don't take a cut of postage charges..although paypal do.0 -

It was the Rabbits, Mario and another decent game, Acessory pack - £264 I think
There were boxes in the window at 1:0 and notices all over the windows saying "Wii now in stock"
Its got the festive wrapping paper - I've seen them on e-bay.
Good Luck0 -
they probley havent read it properly panicked and hit buy it now lol
how dos it avoid ebay fees??
The final value fee is the % ebay takes from the amount the item sells for, it doesnt include postage costs. So he would only pay fees on the £1.00
If anyone bids expecting to buy it for £1.00 and pick up he obviously wont sell it and would end up with bad feedback for doing it so bit silly really.0 -

It will work with tv's here that are NTSC compatible but you will have to buy US (NTSC) games rather than PAL! So it is probably not an ideal buy.0 -

They are supposed to be the best way to play all region games.... apparently if you chip a PAL version it doesnt always work for the NTSC games.
Why would anyone do that? - Well, apparently the US have the "Cool" games, because we are all alcoholics in Europe, so we're not worth bothering with.
(hence the artificially induced shortage)0 -
Why are you all bothering..............

Mod Chips are great. Basically all games are free if you download them or buy copies (which is illeagal) but you can play American games and vice versa with PAL games. There is a utility called Regionfree to chane the format to your county. On the minus side the new WIIS are so complicated to modchip it is a hard job for the most experienced modchippers or whatever they call themselves.
My advice, buy a 2nd hand one, get one modded for £25 and save 3100's on games. I have had many rubbish games for the wii and all I do is use the DVD as a frisbee as every game is free.0
