Why are you bothering to be here? You obviously aren't looking for a Wii.
  • Just seen this end recently.

Buyer has got an absolute bargain at £275inc postage. Retail value possibly in excess of £350.

It will work with tv's here that are NTSC compatible but you will have to buy US (NTSC) games rather than PAL! So it is probably not an ideal buy.

Hey thanks for that Paul. Not really worried about buying the games here as I can get them sent over from US for the console but as long as I can get the console to work on their TV I will be happy. By the way, I am just about able to wire a plug as I am a pension aged surfer lady so WHAT is NTSC

With this on his auction...trying to cover himself if the bid wasn't high enough?
ITEMS ARE ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW FROM SALE.
IF OFFER IS MADE FROM ELSEWHERE THE WINNING BIDDER WILL BE INFORMED OF BID MADE AND GIVEN CHANCE TO RETHINK

Wooooahhh..... wait just there.... I THINK the US electricity runs at 110volts (any sparkies out there!!?) So the transformer will blow up if you plug it into 240v supply.

Check the back of the transformer box for the input voltage... hope I'm wrong, but we don't want any accidents of that scale.

My cousin is bringing a DS Lite over and I got an accessory pack - I hope someone that knows for sure sees this so they can help.

NTSC is just a way that signals are sent to TV's and a format for DVD's etc... It's basically a way that Hollywood can rip off Europe

I think you're right on all counts. You may be able to buy the correct transformer...some-one might know.

As for the DS..that is region free...hand held etc etc..so will be perfectly OK from the states.

    With them saying the following

"Assistant in store said that it would be compatable for UK with just a electric plug converter"
I assumed that would be ok.
